Omg.. thank you thank you.. im 63 and a widow im putting all new metal skirting on my triple wide.. y'all helped this old woman immensely.. just bought that cutter for my DeWalt.. 💞💥💃
This is a game changer. The vid I mean not quite the tool. I'd given up on buying it after watching another vid that could not go over the ridges but you demonstrate it's a matter of skill rather than a tool limitation.
@@lakelifecraftsmannot sure I follow this. Pushing the drill away from your body looks the best way to use this tool. I can see torque from the drill will affect a straight cut.
I was using a reciprocating nibbler on my drill to trim roofing. Just a shaft with step change in diameter, not a blade as in this video. Slow compared to this video. I see a lot of the drill attached cutters using rotary blades - now I’m thinking desalt must have tried the rotary blade and said nah
@@lakelifecraftsmanbecause it heats up the cut area and melts the paint. It rusts there faster. Im reading when its cut with a shear it somehow seals the cut better.
Respect he didn’t cut the worm
Seriously!!!
He said “I can’t do that on film” hardly a hero
Sweet.

The good vid got you a 👍, moving the worm got you a new subscriber.
The "Can't do that on Film" had me rolling
Dang I’ve been wanting one for awhile.Found a deal for 38 bucks.Looks way better cutting than I imagined 😝
Yeah they are cutters for sure. I've cut some 22 guage content with them and still haven't dulled them.
You almost got a thumbs down .. 😅 .. cuts nice! Good vid!

I hate manually cutting those sheets with tin snips, definitely an improvement
I'm not sure how that's better than a metal disc on a skillsaw ?
I WANT ONE!!!!
I thought he was gonna go straight through the worm 😂
Very nice, and what's the name of that attachment
In Nederland it cost 90 EUR
Its funny how filming makes us rethink shit... Im the same way 😂😂😂
Yessir lol
Good man😊
Go diagonal
цена насадок как цельный аппарат с аккумулятором от китайозов ))) но для любителей сойдёт !
Turn the drill 90 degrees to it and you will get better results.
Good tip - that works as well. 👍

I just bought 1 last week
Yea. It’s still a pain in the neck , but a lot of steel roofing manufacturers void the warranty if you use a grinding wheel. Jeez
It does?!? I didn't know this. I love the cutoff wheel on a grinder as well. Quick work.
@@lakelifecraftsman it’s my best friend
