Love everything as usual, but the vintage dress is amazing. I think you should pull it up with a gorgeous embellished pin so it will have a slight lift on the side to close up the hole. Really, there is nothing as stunning as
vintage. The beauty of clothing that they made in the past is unbeatable.

We call these candlewick bedspreads in England, my mum had them on all our beds growing up. They're beautiful and vintage. Love the dresses.

Is there a difference between "recycling" vs. "upcycling" something?
Of course, I have always heard of recycling but seems like "upcycling" is relatively a new term. I know people used to use the word "recycle" when they were changing something about the clothes they had but now this term "upcycling" seems to be the norm.
P.S. The wind chimes sound so lovely but I think would keep me awake at night. I remember some years ago, I had a neighbour in the house next door. Enjoyed hearing them in the day and evening but when I was actually trying to sleep, I never got used to them and instead of being calming or help me relax, it had the opposite effect and kept me awake.😯😩😯☹
Hi Suzanne that's a good question. I am honestly not really sure if there is a difference. I guess when I think of "recycling" I think of a plastic bottle or things like that. I love the wind chimes as well. We don't hear them at night but I am going to ask my neighbors. They are made here on PEI "Island wind chimes" they actually make them in different musical keys. You should watch tmeyers handmade videos. She shows how to make boho clothing and accessories. That blue vintage dress would look lovely with handmade fabric roses in the areas with the torn fabric. Tmeyers has tutorials. Really like your videos and your painting upcycling.

Love the peacock dress and those vintage bed spreads. They are so hard to find nowadays and when you do they can be very expensive. Growing up we always had them and I wish I was able to save them. The 40s dress is so gorgeous. I really liked all your outfits and so glad you got the yellow slip on sandals. Thrifting is so fun and up cycling the cool things we find. Have a great week
