LOVEBITES - The Hammer Of Wrath lyrics:
What's the worst way to die?
    Burning to death, or drowning?
    Everyone laughs in derision
    There's no hope at all
Why is the world rotting away
Howling in pain, they slowly die
All of the sorrow is murderous
    The insanity
    (Burn up)
    They're calling me
    (Burn up)
    It's do or die
    (Burn up)
    Get ready for hell
(Bring down justice to the wicked)
Don't look away from the mistakes
Open your eyes, and see the truth
When lightning cracks the blackened sky
Listen to the screams of distress
It's like a bad dream but it's not
No way to get out, a living nightmare
Bring down the Hammer of Wrath
Who will be the next to burn?
    God only knows the victim
    Everyone knows they are innocent
    All the hope is gone
    In despair they pass away
There was no hope to begin with
Even the angels are giving up
    Looking down on us
Will this night ever break dawn
(Bring down justice to the wicked)
    SOLO: midori / mi-ya [miyako]

It's interesting to see how many of these dudes have never heard of these bands.
They are so busy doing their own thing... they don't stop to look around and see what else is going on.
Sometimes it's good, sometimes not. You can either get inspired or discouraged real quick. 😆

@@rainerzufall42 We have the internet! It's the best way to discover new bands! Sometimes, it's the only way.

@@TheCyberMantis I use the Internet. Still I needed a reactor (searched for Pink Floyd, Queen, Kate Bush, etc.) to show me LOVEBITES (via notification). I tried and was stunned.
Then, there's the difference between Internet (here: UA-cam) and the real world. LOVEBITES (and the other Japanese bands) are much more popular here, than they are outside. This is just a projection of what the popularity may be in some months or years!

    • @jawosammadennhier7062
      @jawosammadennhier7062 Рік тому +3

@@TheCyberMantis Absolutely true. The internet makes it a lot easier and quicker today, to promote any band (as management), and to discover a new band (as an interested person). In Lovebites' case, they also need word of mouth by their fans, it seems to me. It reminds me of the 1980s, when e.g. Iron Maiden came up and had to show themselves to the Metal world, live show by live show, tour by tour. They also had radio play then, but as they also wrote longer songs, the had far less radio play than other bands. So, in Maiden's case, in those early days, most of their promotion was word of mouth by their fans.
Being a Metalhead, I thought, that I knew, what was going on in the Metal world, and I even watched "Top 10 best Metal bands" overview videos, and so on. But Lovebites and Nemophila were listed and introduced _nowhere_ . It took 2-3 reaction videos from a UA-cam reactor whom I trusted, to get my attention, and to fall in love with both bands. That was about 4 months ago.

    • @rolandkarlsson7072
      @rolandkarlsson7072 Рік тому +3

@Mantis - it is not easy. There are som many good things out there. There is probably lots of stuff you never have heard of. Totally kick ass stuff. Those Japanese rock and metal bands are spread by reaction channels. Also bands like the Mongolan band "The HU". And Taiwanese drummers like "Vela Blue" and "S White". And South Korean gems like "Crayon Pop". You might, or you might not be interested. But, my point is - there are stuff out there. BTW - have you heard of "SEIKAMA II" ? They rock. Maybe you have, maybe you have not - it is almost the phase of the moon if you have. So, of course bands like Lovebites might be missed by most people. We have to change that, have we not? Joel here is doing a great job at that!
