Amazing reaction from Taylor 👍😄 Hope you will show him "Rondo of Nightmare" by BABYMETAL with the Kami Band intro, I'm sure he will love the solos and the whole performance 🙂
You the man Joel. Don't know about you but Lovebites live is bucket list for me. Really hope they make it to Boston next year! Keep spreading the word! Taylor knows great musicians when he sees them! 🤘
The “Superfecta” of Progressive Hard Rock, Hard Rock Trio, Progressive Groove Metal, and Power Metal: Band-Maid, The Warning, Jinjer, and Lovebites -- all pushing their core genres into the next realm! 🤘 🤘 🤘🤘 Thx, Joel and Taylor!
Awesome reaction, thank you so much! It is soo exciting and heartwarming to see, when people just know how to appreciate masterpieces of art. 😊🥲 It is so encouraging to experience Lovebites delivering Metal excellence, to experience how far Metal can go, and what it can do for/to us, in a world full of mediocrity. Long live Lovebites, and long live Nemophila! 🐺💮
Hey Sir! While I *dearly* love Band-maid, of the "Holy Trinity of Japanese Female Metal", it's pretty clear tgat Lovebites is the most arena-ready. So it's crazy that they've never toured the US! (I think...) Thanks for helping get the word out - for all three. I could totally see these ladies opening for Maiden or something. Rock on! 🤘😎👍
It's interesting to see how many of these dudes have never heard of these bands. They are so busy doing their own thing... they don't stop to look around and see what else is going on. Sometimes it's good, sometimes not. You can either get inspired or discouraged real quick. 😆
I thought, I knew, what was going on, but I still found LOVEBITES (& Co.) very very late (this year)... I blame the music industry and national frontiers!
@@TheCyberMantis I use the Internet. Still I needed a reactor (searched for Pink Floyd, Queen, Kate Bush, etc.) to show me LOVEBITES (via notification). I tried and was stunned. Then, there's the difference between Internet (here: UA-cam) and the real world. LOVEBITES (and the other Japanese bands) are much more popular here, than they are outside. This is just a projection of what the popularity may be in some months or years!
@@TheCyberMantis Absolutely true. The internet makes it a lot easier and quicker today, to promote any band (as management), and to discover a new band (as an interested person). In Lovebites' case, they also need word of mouth by their fans, it seems to me. It reminds me of the 1980s, when e.g. Iron Maiden came up and had to show themselves to the Metal world, live show by live show, tour by tour. They also had radio play then, but as they also wrote longer songs, the had far less radio play than other bands. So, in Maiden's case, in those early days, most of their promotion was word of mouth by their fans. Being a Metalhead, I thought, that I knew, what was going on in the Metal world, and I even watched "Top 10 best Metal bands" overview videos, and so on. But Lovebites and Nemophila were listed and introduced _nowhere_ . It took 2-3 reaction videos from a UA-cam reactor whom I trusted, to get my attention, and to fall in love with both bands. That was about 4 months ago.
@Mantis - it is not easy. There are som many good things out there. There is probably lots of stuff you never have heard of. Totally kick ass stuff. Those Japanese rock and metal bands are spread by reaction channels. Also bands like the Mongolan band "The HU". And Taiwanese drummers like "Vela Blue" and "S White". And South Korean gems like "Crayon Pop". You might, or you might not be interested. But, my point is - there are stuff out there. BTW - have you heard of "SEIKAMA II" ? They rock. Maybe you have, maybe you have not - it is almost the phase of the moon if you have. So, of course bands like Lovebites might be missed by most people. We have to change that, have we not? Joel here is doing a great job at that!
This song is way more thrash than it is Maiden, so are several other of their songs. I always forget the name but one of their older songs has a riff that could be straight off a Slayer album.
Miyako 🔥💯🔥
Taylor certainly knows his guitars and knows what he's talking about. He acknowledges awesomeness when he sees it. Keep it up Joel !
THEY PLAY LIKE THAT FOR OVER A 100 MINUTES!!!!!!!!
Fami Fami Fami!
Thank you for introducing Lovebites to the right man. These talented and gorgeous women need to be known worldly. Go Lovebites!!💪🤘👍
