To think that these guys have kinda made it big in the music industry and still had to work 9-5 jobs during their breakup shows that there's no reward in this industry anymore or whatsoever. I understand some of them do it for the passion but you gotta eat at some point... So much respect for those guys.
***** It doesn't sound like they earned much money anyways. If your worst financial decision was buying a Mercedes, then that isn't too bad unless he was referring to a SLS which starts at 221k.
Depends how big you get and how you manage your finances. Some people end up broke and some people invest the money they made into other streams of income. Ryan used the money he made to buy a studio and now produces other bands from his home which is cool
At first I thought this interview seemed kind of odd- then I realized these guys are just really down to earth & not trying to act a part for the interview- they're just being themselves. It's really rare to see that.
Saw them 18 times in different countries all over Europe. Really wanted to see them at their last gig in LA, but I could't afford the trip. Still miss them so much.
I never knew he was in a band! I only saw him in Moustachette the short film by Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy. I just figured he was an actor, now I have to go listen to his stuff!
Same here, except I doscovered he was in a band when I started watching a few Yellowcard videos and realizing the guy looked really freakin' familiar. I then searched Moustachette again and rewatched it again, to find out who he was.
I liked the album with fields and fences. Feel like people disliked cause it sounds more matured. Like he was saying people decide who you are as an artist. But real spot real. Loved a lot of yellow cards songs.
4:41 One time in Leeds when opening for Less Than Jake, Shaun ran to the front and tripped over a strap and fell forward twatting me on the shoulder with his violin bow
Mark is really good at shouting, and since when is his voice SO deep lol. Also when did Ryan have his vocal cord surgery? I saw them in '06 and they were really good. Damn that that was a long time ago... I feel old af.
Ryan plays in New Found Glory as a touring musician and still does solo gigs. Longineu plays as a session musician and also for the band New Years Day. Not sure about the others though lol hopefully they invested their music income into something sustainable for the future. Sean Mackin has a pool and plays golf a lot on Instagram so he's prob doing ok
And LP is honestly the sickest musician out of all of them too. They're all really talented but you know it's his passion because he continued to pursue music even when everyone else found normal jobs.
@goldwincs from a professional musician...lp would wipe his ass with travis barker...travis barker is a good drummer but lp is a drummer that someone (like me) who's been to music school and seen it all can look at and say "wow...that guy is a monster player"
Nah man. As much as I love and respect Ryan, he would've never fit in blink. His style was way different from most of the pop punk artists plus now he's more of an ambient/acoustic guy
Yellowcard, Blink 182, Plus 44, Angels and Airwaves, Sum 41, Greenday, Papa Roach, FOB, and all others.. Oh the memories.
***** was shit
*Green Day. Two words.
And Simple plan... but they play still all the time.
Nycra DONT FORGET MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE! x3
Alejandro Sandoval They're good but don't top my list.
Still here in almost 2020 . Bring back Mark Hoppus as a Host and bring back Yellowcard ASAP . Thanks internet
Yellow card fucking sucks I hope they die

Nobody ever talks to us drummers....even though how badass L. Parsons is.
No one looks on Mark and Tom, when Travis was in band, what r u tallking about?
he is the fastest drummer in the world for me

chownful oh.. he was, and he lived in LA. lol
Or they made 10 albums he made decent money, probably enough to live off for the rest of his life and he just spent beyond his means.
Depends how big you get and how you manage your finances. Some people end up broke and some people invest the money they made into other streams of income. Ryan used the money he made to buy a studio and now produces other bands from his home which is cool
He literally said he spend all his money. So maybe it was just not managing money well.
Give Hoppus his show back. I miss it.
man, i really want to watch a drum battle with Longineu LP Parsons III vs. Travis Barker. that would be a badass one!
At first I thought this interview seemed kind of odd- then I realized these guys are just really down to earth & not trying to act a part for the interview- they're just being themselves. It's really rare to see that.
no pun intended?
My first concert ever was a show from their final tour ^^ Sad but I don’t regret it. One of the best times. Love you guys!
It's sad because now yellowcard is actually breaking up
Yup. I saw them at their last concert in L.A. and still can't believe it's really over.
Knowing this and that I couldn’t go their gig in my country because I was back home and couldn’t attend the concert :’)))
Saw them 18 times in different countries all over Europe. Really wanted to see them at their last gig in LA, but I could't afford the trip. Still miss them so much.
They're back!
Not anymore!
I miss LP. My fav drummer ever!
One of the sickest drummers i've seen in a while.
"We were both 16 and it felt so right....."
this was awesome in so many ways!
Yellowcard is back is how i found this video! 🎉
Marks hair got some "Something about Mary" going on.
they seem so humble
I never knew he was in a band! I only saw him in Moustachette the short film by Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy. I just figured he was an actor, now I have to go listen to his stuff!
Yellowcard is pretty good. But yeah I first looked him up because of Moustachette. XD
Same here, except I doscovered he was in a band when I started watching a few Yellowcard videos and realizing the guy looked really freakin' familiar. I then searched Moustachette again and rewatched it again, to find out who he was.
Believe is about 911
Awww moustachette brings me back to the days round 2012 i was hoping for fob to go back
2024, still have Ocean Avenue and Paper Walls on repeat
Love this band so much
Haha that was really nice! I love Mark and YC so I enjoyed watching this
loved this interview. thank you
If I could find you now, things would be better :D
I liked the album with fields and fences. Feel like people disliked cause it sounds more matured. Like he was saying people decide who you are as an artist. But real spot real. Loved a lot of yellow cards songs.
I agree. Fields and fences is one of my favs. To this day I haven't loved another band as much as YC
Mark looks like a unicorn
I'm a unicorn u unicorn hater
Singer was looking at it the whole time :D
yellowcared paper walls was still amazing!
4:41 One time in Leeds when opening for Less Than Jake, Shaun ran to the front and tripped over a strap and fell forward twatting me on the shoulder with his violin bow
Saw their last ever London show before their break up December 2016
"on a dare?" haahah!! oh my god mark will never change. And it made my day to hear that.
Mark is really good at shouting, and since when is his voice SO deep lol. Also when did Ryan have his vocal cord surgery? I saw them in '06 and they were really good. Damn that that was a long time ago... I feel old af.
And you wrote THAT 7 years ago! Wonder how old u feel now :p
@@evabakker lmao almost 30 is how I feel 😂
Agreed, I saw YC in concert and LP had five minutes to solo; I knew he was good, but he is even more skilled than he leads on.
I guess it's back to the odd jobs
Nah Ryan is a multi millionaire
Ryan plays in New Found Glory as a touring musician and still does solo gigs. Longineu plays as a session musician and also for the band New Years Day. Not sure about the others though lol hopefully they invested their music income into something sustainable for the future. Sean Mackin has a pool and plays golf a lot on Instagram so he's prob doing ok
I saw this band 7 times... Until they played the song i wanted to hear Only one... I first saw this band in 2004 my younger brother showed them to be
"The fecal Moses parting the Red Sea." Haha, I love Mark and his playful banter.
Sad, who would've thought Ocean Avenue was both the peak and beginning of the end of Yellowcard.
What is this lol i found it in 2023!!! Great
"How much money do you have?" "A lot." look at that Rolex
I fucking love all of these people. 😍❤️
Sad they gave up
make the music great again!
He's wearing a US soccer/football jacket! Hell yeah! Football rulezzzz!!
Well...their band name is "yellowcard" what do u expect?
I Love Paper Walls!
i love this show
Lol, the black guy was wondering why he was even there
drummers don't get a chance to talk. the same with travis while mark and tom are talking
Racist fuck
how the hell is that even racist? its a fact, he's black nothing wrong with that
And LP is honestly the sickest musician out of all of them too. They're all really talented but you know it's his passion because he continued to pursue music even when everyone else found normal jobs.
thats a strange choice of words
Yes. I agree.
Omg. The violin bitch was funny xD
i miss LP :(
Their two albums after he left were bad
miss lp drum sound
@goldwincs from a professional musician...lp would wipe his ass with travis barker...travis barker is a good drummer but lp is a drummer that someone (like me) who's been to music school and seen it all can look at and say "wow...that guy is a monster player"
Got here from blink 182 all the small things. Not even mad.
Yellowcard died after Lights and Sounds but they're probably still my favorite punk band and hope they wouldn't have broken up.
Paper walls is good
So is when your through
Theyre my fav band too but theyre not punk
@@evabakker pop punk.
They're actually spaghetti punk
Shut up, Longineu is AHHHMAAAZZING
What kind of shoes does Ryan have? They look awesome :D
Well, they're the best in the biz at that
Does anybody know what kind of nike shoes the singer is wearing?
And here we are in 2021 record companies are worthless and they don’t even pay you for your music you get an advance and nothing else at all
Played for Adam Lambert ? just exactly how much glitter was involved
is that haircut normal in canada?
Hell yeah, USMNT track jacket.
US Mutant Ninja Turtles?
Did anyone else get a German coca-cola ad? Crazy shit right there
"on a dare?" thumbs up if you know what Mark is talking about
Should of replaced Tom with Ryan Key.. he sings on that high register like Tom.
Nah man. As much as I love and respect Ryan, he would've never fit in blink. His style was way different from most of the pop punk artists plus now he's more of an ambient/acoustic guy
Ryan plays in New Found Glory now (touring musician)
mark's laughing cause he knows how filthy rich he is.
Is mark sporting the Something About Mary hair-do
Is it bad that when Mark said on a dare so quickly I immediately thought "fucking Tom"?
Holy shit, I did not know that was Mark Hoppus.
Mark's face at 4:17 lmfao.
5ick5imon that watch though..ballin'
Anybody wanna see him interview Eminem
The host is the guy from blink 182
Woah
the hell has hoppus done to his hair?!
Why is Seth McFarlane with weird hair interviewing these guys
Ryan Key nearly pooped his pants on stage.
Corey Taylor actually pooped his pants on stage.
I'm noticing a trend here.
What happened to Longineu's face?
muhaha we're everywere! :D
LP = LINKIN PARK
Has anyone else noticed that Ryan looks like Tom Hiddleston?
More like Tom Felton
More like Morgan Freeman
Mark's hair.
What kind of Nike’s does the lead singer have on?
Wow I'm late
The original left though.
I feel like Mark makes really uncomfortable eye contact.
justalittlemindfulness
- in bed.
Marks hair haha
ALOT!
gee, the best musician in the band is the guy who had a great music gig during the hiatus... coincidence?
Ryan key isn't even the original lead singer
is this blink 182 or sum 44 I'm confused
Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 is interviewing Yellowcard.
It's Yellow Car 41
God his hair is awful.
Смешные пацаны.
"ON A DARE?" hahahahahahahaahahah
Fall Out Boy watch, listen and learn.

WOW Hoppus is a terrible interviewer.
Cos he's a musician.
