Hi Robert 👋 I've said this before but it's definitely worth saying again: Thank you so much for these tutorials and watching you apply your makeup is SO catharctic for me! I just love it!💜🙌💜
Your make up is always stunning, that's one of many reasons why I trust your guidance!! Just because someone is a qualified MUA doesn't necessarily mean they are good at what they do but you certainly are, love your tutorials!!
Thank you Robert! It’s a basic concept that I’ve been doing wrong for decades. Now it makes sense. Thank you so much for your wisdom! 😊 Your makeup is always spectacular! ❤
Robert, I cannot thank you enough for your videos. I’m 26 and have never applied make-up. Whenever I go to events my sister would usually do it for me (very occasionally). Last weekend, I did my own make up for as a bridesmaid for my friends wedding. I had SO many compliments from people asking how I had managed to make it look so perfect, especially from people who know I’m not a make up user. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you. Your tutorial videos are truly amazing and have given me the confidence to do my make up if I decide I want to! This video with a clear step by step of how to apply products and when is brilliant! Thank you again! I never would have done my own make up without your videos ❤️
ROBERT!!! I am so excited to see this video!! I watched the weird tik toks video with the stupid broccoli hairdos and such yesterday. I was telling my S/O Robert's pastel eyes look great, all his makeup is on point, love the curly hair look, and also love your shirt. Then this video turned up and it was just a happy dance here to watch the whole look being done. Please do more like this. THANK YOU!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
This way I love this mua gives it to straight no chaser. I been really trying to up my skincare. Because with good skin care equals good make. And proper makeup application as well
i'm 26 and just started doing my makeup last year and this is so helpful bc i really was just guessing when it came to the order of things! thank you robert
I have never been able to do my face last. I see a lot of people do their eyes first because of fallout etc but if I do my face last it's not set properly or it's in my eyebrows, etc. After 30 years I guess doing from base product up is just ingrained in me. I usually just stick TP below my eyes if I suspect there will be fallout. The 2010s where BLACK eyeshadow was the go-to were very smudgy for me lol
This morning, I decided to throw out my routine/process completely and try yours - you know, for fun, and maybe a little because my whole face melts off after an hour in the heat. No primer almost killed me, I'm not gonna lie, but oh, my GOD. My skin looks like skin, but airbrushed. Glowy, well-applied skin.
I’ve followed this tutorial and THANK YOU!! I’ve always done my eye shadow after complexion and it’s always looked dusty and not right but now I look AMAZING!!🥰🥰
Interesting primer before spf. I’ve never tried that order. Also, because my mascara is always so messy I actually do that first. Find it easier to clean it up before eye makeup. I’m going to have to try primer before spf.
I feel like I have learned most of these rules watching your other videos. I have been here a while. But it was great to see them all in one video. I do my makeup this way too except I use a second brightening concealer after foundation because it is very thin.
UGH. I've been searching for tutorials/help-based videos for forever it feels like... one that just cuts to the chase, or rather, one's that are thorough and explain the reasoning behind the steps they give. finally. I've found that video! now all I need is to learn how to properly blend my blush, because no matter the tools or products I use it always looks patchy ❤🔥
i learned a lot of this technique just by watching you apply make up in dozens of videos, but my routine has a couple areas i switch up a little, depending on the products i'm using. once the foundation is on, i try to stick to liquid/creme products first, and then powders. so usually that has me doing blush before contour and highlight lately, but not always! and depending on the skincare/primer i'm using, sometimes i wait until after my upper eyeshadow is done to put on primer (i like this on days i spot prime, to give my skincare as much time to settle as it needs).
Very rarely do I do eyeshadow first. Unless I’m doing a dramatic look. I also know how much you hate using concealer as eye primer but my usually doesn’t crease. Elf camo concealer works great in my opinion. Love the detail in the tutorial however. Def going to try a couple of these tips!
I think this is a good order, for the most part. The only thing I'd disagree with is doing brows first, but that's only really because I get eyeshadow and foundation all over my brows when I apply those, so for me it makes more sense to do my brows last, or at least after eyes and base.
This was SO helpful 🖤 Have you tried the COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream? I’ve been obsessed. I use it day and night, and my under eye creasing has gone down so so much. They’re so much more hydrated.
Spf after primer?😮my world has just been rocked😂I have struggled for years trying to not let my spf ruin my makeup. It always makes whatever foundation I use much less long-wear and now I try to use a very fine translucent powder to set the spf before I go in with other liquid products (taking a page out of jackie’s techniques)😂 is there any other way to maintain the longevity of the makeup even with high spf underneath?
