The list of songs playing at the Mall: 05:46 - Eastside Story - Group Forty Orchestra (A & B) 8:16 - Plus Crier - Candy! 11:06 - Gavino James - The Complex: Expedition OST, Reception Track ( SLOWED) 10:48 ( 11:29 ) - Plus Crier - At the Mall
@@vedantsridhar8378 I absolutely agree. I can't really describe what I feel while walking through these facilities in The Complex: Expedition, but I really do like this vibe of madness and complete helplessness. You're just alone in the unknown mall with no exit, with abandoned shops of completely unknown brands, and the music is just playing at the background. The electricity is working, but nobody is there. That's what I love about this game, this atmosphere is extremely menacing and mental, and the songs contribute to everything said greatly
I think it's the -I feel like I should remember this but I don't- feeling for me that puts me off. Like it should be a vague memory or something but can't place it. Also the lack of litter is disturbing lol
when I noclipped there, I ate some of the food these unfamiliar brands had to offer. They were edible, but oh god, they tasted so terrible. Felt like puking. If you noclip into the backrooms and end up here or in the supermarket level and are dying of hunger, I still highly advise you NOT to eat any of the food there! It's better to just explore till you reach the final level and noclip back to reality, hopefully not falling from the sky.
that's because it is a game, the complex: expedition. it can be tricky sometimes to sort through original animated found footage backrooms content, when there are several seemingly well made backrooms games too.
@@marijhalby the way I like that effect that I described of the camera, because it makes it feel like they finally decided to stop sending people..... As if they can end up there on purpose without the help of that gateway
@@GeoXGDNICE!! I was looking for it, because it was very difficult to hear at that minute. Only now do I realize that later in the video it becomes audible
As much as I know this isn't real, I somehow keep getting creeped out by this. I ask myself where this is located. Who built this mall? Why would they build something when nobody is going to use it? Did actual humans build it? How do you exit the mall and go back home after a nice time shopping? Who runs the shops? Is the light coming from the sun? What does the outside look like? Has anybody else been there? Since there are multiple chairs and tables, it implies that there should be a time when more than one person is there. People should be enjoying their time at the mall and not wondering how to get back to reality. Something's just very unsettling about it.
I replied to another comment, but the music at 6:10 would be Eastside Story by Trevor Duncan. ua-cam.com/video/7AyyGyqnRYo/v-deo.htmlsi=t2ZDR5IzIphMTM6F I don’t know the other ones though.
@@vedantsridhar8378 Yeah I always loved and appreciated his music and especially in this it sets an unsetting yet calm mood. I'm just hoping I can find the second song soon.
I am not sure of the Mall music specifically, but what I have found is that the original game soundtrack for the game was made by Gavino James. Hope that helps narrow it down some for you!

Eastside story- Group Forty Orchestra really sounds very unsettling, like it's from another dimension. Perfectly suitable for the backrooms.

“Media Play” was a real store. Great place!
I really like the way you animate it feels real and the experience is that of a video game.
Thank you!

Even Before watching these gameplays I had dreams of spaces really similar to these... so creepy
It feels like a lunar rover is driving over something really smooth. But other than that I love this. Looking forward to more!
