Unfortunately crypto is too volatile to ever completely take over as currency. No one in their right mind would put all their cash into crypto (and bitcoin is the only one worth anything). Find a chart and look how big swings in price can be. Tens of thousands in one day are not uncommon. Crypto should just be a percentage of your holdings.

There is one piece of misinformation in this video. You stated that the ownership of your coins on the Ledger wallet is “truly yours” when that isn’t true. I remember learning about this when silk road was open. I felt like it was too much of a process and never bothered with it. Now I want to create a wallet in case of a government seizure like they did with gold in 1933 in the US.
I’m new to crypto as a whole but as a long time tech guy I’d strongly recommend against this. In a very basic analogy, an SSD is just flash memory, meaning every time you do something the drive deletes the old info and flashes the new info in its place. So at some point, it will reach its max amount of “flashes” and die. Now, I don’t mean that to make you scared, because the reality is it should have enough “flashes” to last a lifetime. But what I’m getting at is that if your using it to store something as important as money, why put the extra strain on the drive with other stuff like games. Your games will just be using up those precious “flashes”, opening up a potential of corrupting the SSD or killing it. I would just get a dedicated SSD strictly for the purpose of your crypto wallet. Don’t do anything else with it, anything else is just an unnecessary chance of killing the drive.
For some reason, @7:14 I thought about how many ppl will tattoo or " implant" their pw so they won't lose it... sort of makes you think about people not being able to buy sell... sort of puts one in mind of the marxOTB...
Since you can't go to the police if your crypto is stolen, does this mean sealing crypto is legal? People stealing crypto can't get into trouble with the law?
Stealing as a whole is illegal, be it crypto or apples from the market :) People can get in trouble depending on a country. But as a general rule, police won't be, or rather wouldn't be able to make any moves as there won't be anywhere to go for them. Yes, they would have a public address of a robber's wallet but then it's quite complicated to figure out who is behind it, more so to gain access to this wallet
