  • In 2004 the infamous Ogwugwu Akpu shrine was hit with a scandal that shook the cores of the country. Up till this day not much is known about the story or the case or the trials of those involved, however this is everything we know about the 2004 Okija Shrine Scandal. #documentary #okijashrine

    Okija is my hometown. I'm a first hand witness of this story. I pray one day light will shine upon my hometown and the work of Christ will manifest. These numerous deities have done us no good. Rather, they've brought pain, setback, conflict and kept us under the bondage of Satan.
    Thanks Daniel for bringing it up again.

    I am from okija, this shrine is so full of evil, that was how God saved me from their hands in the year 2021, someone reported me there when I was pregnant, but God saved me because my hands were clean, and one of the native doctors there which was my uncle died after some months.

    • @vivianchinasa893
      @vivianchinasa893 Рік тому

      There is nothing like God saved you, like Christian god. Obviously your hands were clean as you said that's why you were vindicated. It doesn't kill the innocent period. Your native doctor uncle that died did evil and he thinks the Alusi will not kill him but one thing about the diety is, it knows the innocent and the guilt. So even if the evil person is its worshipper, it will not prevent it from killing such person. If you doubt be guilty and let anyone report you. 🤷

    Thanks for the history lesson; it was very informative and educational. My opinion on these type of stories is that when people don't have a logical explanation for something, they attribute it to the supernatural. For all we know, the crops in her land were contaminated and could have led to the illness of the thieves regardless of her visits to the priests, or the priests may have given her poison to bury in her land which affected the additional crops the thieves stole. People die everyday and just cos one party died doesn't mean they were the guilty party- that a guilty party outlived an innocent party is not proof that they were innocent. It's sad that a lot of families have believed their loved ones guilty and deserved to have their corpse dumped like that. Some of the deaths may have been natural or staged. These shrines /deities stories are usually convenient when the outcome benefits them personally; they never care that the deities are never great enough to have stopped colonisation or help the average Nigerian out of the hell they have found themselves, no thanks to corruption politicians day in day out.

      You say a lot of sense and use basic logic. Unfortunately, sense and logic aren't quite so good for manipulating people. It's really sad how often you'll find someone ready to profit from others in some such way but try and keep your eye on what's logical, not fantastical. They may make interesting stories, but that's all they are😊

    During a judgement they ask the contenders to each bring a bottle of hot drinks. After the judgement they decide who is guilty. They send messengers to him and return his empty bottle of drink with just a little bit of the drink which they poison. Most times the man gulps the reminder and is dead by the next morning. And they will say Juju has killed him.

    • @VivianVee56
      @VivianVee56 Рік тому

      I thought so too that people probably were being poisoned some how as to the supernatural killing them. You made some good sense there 👏🏽 perhaps the person who delivers the bottle instructs them to drink the last bit left and the rest is history.

    Thanks for the video, u a genius. From your narration, I think you missed something when you talked about the Igbo pre-colonial administration. Igbo system though they practised direct democracy and were referred to as a republican had kings,not just family heads. The problem with the system was that it was segmented in the sense that each community was autonomous and the Igbo system had no central head. Powers were highly decentralised among different institutions, these institutions include Igwe or Eze or Obi or chief depending on the community, Ofor title holders, Ozo title holders, Age Grades, Umuada, the oracles( whose function is to interpret the law). Decisions were reached in the Igbo pre-colonial system through consensus which means every adult is part of the decision -making body in the village square. As a result of this decentralisation of power, the colonial masters replaced the Igbo political institutions with warrant chiefs appointed by them. The Igbo pre-colonial had kings but no central king because they were segmented. I enjoy your videos. Watching from 🇳🇬

    Everytime I come to UA-cam you are always the first person I will check on to know if you have released a new video. I love your analysis. But am not happy because I have been telling you make a research of how my brother who was an American soldier was abducted from my village and was assassinated. It will be very interesting if you can do it. And secondly, I will also like you to make a research about my own village gods. Because my mum always tell me stories about our village gods and its operation. And based on what she told me, our village gods dosen't kill the innocent ones. If someone is working against you, at the mention of the name of the gods, depending on what you want immediately it will go visit the person instantly. And for my grandfather, he was also a native doctor. When I was small. Anytime we travel to the village, me and my cousins then we normally play around his shrine even using some of things meant for the shrine to play sometimes we even use the pots meant for the shrine to cook (normal children's cooking play) as kids then we don't know anything about shrine nah. And my grandfather never killed any human being. If you lie against the person, as the plaintiff, just because you want to kill the defendant the deity will backfire the plaintiff. But if the defendant is not innocent, that's when justice will be for the defendant. Please Daniel make a research about this two things. I will really love to see your own analysis based on my village. And will also be happy to see you narrate a story about my veteran American soldier brother. THANKS

      All this madness still exists today in the east and I can tell you that Juju is working in full in that Anambra State. All one can do is spiritually wash themselves with the blood of Christ before laying leg in Anambra State. *If your heart is pure then no evil can ever touch you for you have been anointed by the one true God. In Anambra they tried to attack me spiritually, somehow God showed me that it was my distant cousin/ house girl in a dream where HE revealed to me that she was wayward and evil. Next day as I lay on my sofa chair sick as if I was dead there I demandedour Calabar cook read the holy bible in the presence of my house help/ cousin. That girl could not stand still for one second and was behaving like she wanted to run. We read endless psalms until the juju (the spell) was believed to be broken. One hour after prayer I sent them away, I staggered back to my room and fell back onto my sick bed. Five minutes of me crying out "Why me GOD?? Why me?? Ohh how I hate this country Nigeria, YOU have abandoned me and left me like a carcass for the Wolve." AND THEN....It was as if GOD'S HAND HIMSELF touched my feet and there it was...a tingling sensation that rose from my toes and all the way to my head. Alleluia...it was a MIRACLE and I was fully cured, 100% back to good health with no high fever, no sickness, no weakness, no more pains AND I JUMPED UP ON MY FEED AND OUT OF MY SICK BED as I proceeded to run downstairs to the kitchen to shou aloud and tell my good Christian Calabar cook THAT I HAVE FINALLY BEEN HEALED BY GOD HIMSELF AND HE HAS GIVEN ME COMPLETE MERCY AND I WAS VERY GRATEFUL. 🙏🏾
