A Trip To Tony's Bonsai Extravaganza!

- In this Bonsai Vlog, we traveled to England to attend Tony's Bonsai Extravaganza! After seeing Tony's announcement on his channel, I knew that I absolutely could not miss this wonderful Bonsai meetup!
🌳 Tony's Bonsai Extravaganza was a day of Bonsai fun and good vibes. There were Bonsai demonstrations (✂️ one of which I was lucky enough to give!), Bonsai Auctions, a Bonsai Raffle, as well as the opportunity to purchase some of Tony's trees... and how could I forget the famous bacon butties! At the end of the day, Tony gave out some of his famous handmade Bonsai chopsticks!
Whilst there I met the very welcoming Bonsai UA-camrs! Tony @TonysBonsai Jason@TheBonsaiGarden and Xavier @XaviersBonsaiRetreat
Thank you to Tony and his family for arranging this wonderful event, and to everyone who attended... it made it a really special day!

Not seen this one until today - I followed Tony more or less from his start and his memory lives on. He had a contagious way to produce videos and bonsai. He is missed.

What a fantastic bonsai meet up at Tony’s bonsai Extravaganza, everyone showing their love and support for Our Bonsai Master 🙏🏻🪴🎋🌲nice to see the bonsai family having a wonderful time. Liked Adams demonstration very good with a bit of humour put in to the mix. Loved the raffle and everyone being so generous. Tony thank you for showing us and and sharing. Wish I could of made it up to you Tony, due to illness I couldn’t attend.❤

What a lovely video. I truly enjoyed it. I am sure Tony enjoyed it a lot. So sad to learn that he passed away recently ..... he was one of the youtubers that got me into bonsai. Rest in peace, Tony!!
What a great get together! Wish there was a large group around me but the closest bonsai club is 4.5 hrs away, time to get people excited and start my own here! Thanks to everyone involved and big THANKS to Adam for the footage!

Great to see this. Would have loved to be at the event, but I was on a plane to Rome at the time. Saw Tony’s last video whilst I was away. Absolutely gutted to hear the news.

Think you put on an excellent demonstration Adam and explained your processes well. And I like your tip about wiring in different directions to avoid severing the branch. Very good tip, never thought about that one myself. 😊

Throughly enjoyed watching this and your other traveling vlogs. It's nice to see the collaboration on the decision-making behind each "cut" and with those , the reasons why. Allowing a novice like me to become educated on the process and idea behind bonsai instead of a list of rules. Thank you, Adam, for always explaining your reasons WHY (from someone who is always asking, "ok, but why?")
It was a fun demonstration for sure! For me, thats the fun part! To know why people want to keep certain branches can tell you a lot about what they find beautiful! Although there is the "Bonsai conventions" and ways of doing things, everyone will see something different in a tree! 🤗🌳
