- Hey guys! So today I am going to be using some stuff from past videos. I've ruined a bunch of art projects I've tried in the past, and today I want to redeem them by fixing them up and giving them a makeover!
Most of this stuff is from my hydro dip video, but there are some other lil fellows as well. I'm going to be custom painting a pair of shoes, re-painting a coaster to make some colorful DIY room decor and also fixing up a pencil pouch and decorating that in a new way.

This is another great idea for art things to do when you're bored at home. If you have old or ruined art projects, give them a makeover!
ALSO, as I explained in the video, the reason I didn't give my squishy girl a makeover is because the paint was already to thick, so painting over that would have just made it worse. There's really no clean way of removing paint from a squishy if it'd been properly adhered.
ALSO, just in case you're still reading this, last night I put together a playlist of videos I've seen around youtube. These all have something to do with my channel, and the people in them are so sweet and kind, I just had to find a way to feature all of them.

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 25 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating and painting videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try LOL).

I truly think that Pickle the Dinosaur and Cousin Derp are conceptually intriguing. Their characters are so cohesive and iconic. They need to be appreciated more. Moriah has such a sophisticated art style.
I love how she does this most other youtubers cut out their imperfections but with moriah she embraces them and shows us and that's why I LOVE this channel. 😊

I feel like the fact that Moriah uses funny moments in her previous as memes in her current videos is a sign of how far this channel has come. Seriously Moriah you are the only youtuber and this channel is the only one I know that has not changed (in a bad way) because you gained a lot of subscribers, so keep doing what you do because you brighten my day every time I see you've posted a video (I hope you read this that would mean the world to me 🤗)

Watching through these videos again, I just wanna say that these videos helped me get back into art. I fell into a hard rut a few years ago, where I couldn't make myself draw. Felt anxious trying to and couldn't find inspiration. When I started watching this channel, I realized what was holding me back was that I stopped letting myself just have fun. I started doing art again by just...doing goofy drawings and doodles and slowly working my way to more fun things. I wanted to thank you for showing me that art is really about having fun, and to not be afraid to draw or make something silly.

*It is!* but i understand it. As people, we tend to compare ourselves to others so that same trait effects how artists think of our art so yeah. We tend to underestimate how we think of our art but after a while of looking away or looking at it for awhile we can actually tell if we wanna love or not. Gesso is a like paint. It is so you don’t have to waste all of your white paint. Or any other colors that you will have to do layers for.
