Such an interesting/clever idea to intersperse stills with videos - certainly emphasises the skill in building the displays - and great to see layouts under development (not to mention the beers . . . . .!!!!). Thank you for sharing.
Cheers Alex, yes I think it helps emphasise certain aspects and mixes it up a little from the straight video footage. Glad you enjoyed, some stunning layouts there both built and in-build! Beers are always the aim at the end of a show ha🍻
I really liked thios show. Shows in club rooms have a special feel to them with completed and under construction exhibits. The photography was nice too. I liked the mixture of stills and movement. Just one complaint...not enough N Gauge!! Well done to all concerned.
Yes David the first layout is a cracking O Gauge layout. Second is N Gauge and third is OO. All layouts are listed in the description. There’s a nice retro Hornby Dublo 3 rail layout a bit further in you might enjoy!
First exhibit, so nice to see drivers in all cabs, modeller has obviously realised that little kids run toy trains, but serious modellers go for realism. I have seen many an exhibition, spoiled by amazing layouts, but the familiar "Ghost Trains", driven by nobody with no passengers either. Yet they put people on platforms, but cannot be arsed to put passengers into the trains. Unless you are on Docklands light railway, where its generally automated, unless something goes wrong, then they put drivers in cabs. Why spoil the ship for a ha'penny of tar?
