  • Do you need to use hot compresses to open up plugged tear glands? But are you too busy to lie down with eyes closed for 20-30 minutes/day? This is necessary to heat up your lids to liquify the hardened/rancid oil and bacteria that’s causing dry eyes and inflammation of the oily tear making glands. Melting the oily bacteria plugs opens up the tear glands to release the oily layer of tears to lubricate and moisturize your eyes naturally.
TearRestore is a brilliant solution. It’s the only heated eye mask that you can use while keeping your eyes open. This allows you to regain up to 30 minutes a day because you can keep your eyes open, and keep on doing what you need to do, while treating your plugged oily tear making glands.
I’ve been asked so many times by patients, “How do I use the TearRestore mask?” so I decided to make a video while I was explaining “how to” to a real live patient in my office! There are basically two parts: Heating up the mask, then melting the hardened crystals in the mask so that you can use it over, and over again!
    Here's how:
Click the small metal disc located within the heat pack. Press the center of the metal disc with your thumb or forefinger to activate the pack. Upon doing so, you will feel the mask heat up right away.
Immediately snap to attach the heat pack into the mask while it’s heating.
The TearRestore mask has specially designed hooks around the eye holes. Simply match the eye holes of the heat pack with the mask and hook the edges of the heat pack onto the mask.
Place the TearRestore mask and activated heat pack over your head and adjust to be able to see through the eye holes. Pull the straps until comfortable and wear for a 15-minute treatment!
The TearRestore heat packs are easily reactivated in boiling water or a one-click kettle. The boiling water returns the heat packs into a liquid state in as little as five minutes. Once the pack has become liquid, simply let cool and reactivate by pressing the metal disk in the mask when you need to use it again.
Important note: You must keep the mask in boiling hot water until ALL the hardened sodium acetate crystals have “melted” back to a liquid state or it will not get hot again.
If you are always busy, and your time is precious, but you suffer from dry eyes, use TearRestore. Use my code HollywoodEyes to get a 10% discount on your purchase.

Thanks! Just got mine, followed your instructions and it's working! The only thing is mine just came with one mask insert - not 2. Maybe they've cut back. Will have to check with the company.

I dont get it. You just took it out of boiling water its already warm enough and liquid. What's the point of pressing that button?

How long after heating it in boiling water do you need to wait before reactivating it.

It takes a few minutes. Wait until it has completely liquified and there are no more hard crystals.
