That same night, I continued playing this to try to keep myself together, and as if it was fate, shortly after starting the day were Koromaru "awakens" to his persona happened, and seeing him injured tugged at my heart. From then on, every linked episode, hangout night events, and story bits with Koromaru were like... catharsis for me, like I was reunited with my dog one last time Today, I reached the final episode, and not gonna lie... that last howl at the shrine, I couldn't help but cry, memories overflowing. That howl said something to me that I can't put into words, but it was what I needed. Thanks for everything, my dear Toby
My personal favorite part of the game. Its such a bitter sweet SL, and really makes me wish for an alternate universe where Mokoto lives just so he and Koromaru can be together.

My first play through I barely did any of these linked episodes so my second play through I made sure to do all of them. Knowing what happens at the end I dead ass cried when u asked koromaru if he wants to come with you when everything’s over 😢😢
Totally understand. In the original and here I’m pissed I have Kenji as a fucking social link, the inept creep that he is, and I’d rather have a social link with Junpei. In saying that though, I do like Mamoru, Chihiro, and the old couple social links for the Star, justice, and hierophant in that order. As much as a social link with Akihiko, Ken, and Shinji would’ve been awesome, I totally get why they didn’t do it…I’m still salty about magician though.
