*Not true huh?...* There are thousands of problems that 2K hasn't and still will never fix up to this day. I gotta play the game first? I have been buying and supporting their game for years and they continue to not fix the gameplay. People like you are delusional. Don't know what I mean???? Here's all the problems that have been in the game for years but 2K never fixes them...
OFFENSE
the spacing is terrible players are too big on the screen or the court is too small whichever one is the issue they need to fix it but instead they added new passing animations which does not fix the problem it just starts a new one because it will probably be harder to steal and play defense with passes getting passed you. They have always tried and solve problems but ended up making new ones for example.
NBA 2k13 people would may way too much contested 3 pointer so when 2k14 came out instead of making defense harder and lower the chances if contested shots they just made it harder to shoot on offense instead causing people to miss open shots constantly so instead of improving defense they just made offense worse.
Another example would be it would be hard to steal the ball in 2k13 since it would always be a reach in foul so instead of balancing it and make defense better they made offense worse they made so you can barely control the ball on offense your player would constantly get shoved into animations where it is easier to get stolen the ball would hit a player and fall out of your hands or your teammate would hit you and the ball would get knocked away.
Lastly, alley ooping is probably the easiest way to score I have literally gone to park mode with my friends and scored all 21 points with just alley ooping.
DEFENSE
if I play good defense I am not rewarded instead I am punished I like the blocking a bit more now but it is near impossible to stop a player for example if a player is dribbling and he attacks the basket I would cut him off but then get bumped off of him as if he had a forced field around his body then I will get stuck since my player reacts like a moron and I can’t get back to my guy and he gets an easy layup. another problem is the computers defense is the WORST defense I have ever seen it feels like I am playing with James harden they allow cuts even if I run a zone, they don't close out, and they double team for no reason for example an hour ago I was playing my career and Anthony Davis was in the post and LeBron and bosh double team him and are able to get him to pass out yet wade comes over to triple team him even though he does NOT have the ball and in result he stays there now I have 4 guys on the right side of the court and Jackson Ellis is open for a three.
Not even to mention the fact that LeBron can blow past the whole team with no one intercepting him then he dunks on three of my team mates.
AI
OMG the AI is so clueless I think it’s beyond repair they stand around and do nothing and when I finally set up an open shot for them they cut in to the defense and I get the ball picked off its almost as if they know they are about to get the ball and they run away and I get a TO because they ran straight into two players. HOF is a stupid difficulty because the players do not get smarter they just make more shots I had a random generated rookie go 11-11 from the 3 point line in the western conference finals it does not matter if he was open or not the CPUs defense was just as bad they just made more shots and you made less.
the CPU does not know when to pass for example when I was playing I had given wade the ball then I spinned off my defender and was open for a pass instead of passing it to me it said bad call for pass then he waited till the defender to come back and he tipped the pass out of bounds.
REBOUNDING
Rebounding is terrible and inconsistent some games I have wilt chamberlain get 13 rebounds then the nest game he gets 2 or 3 and Chris Paul gets 7 it just makes no DAMN SENSE. I hate when Shaq and wilt just jump up for a rebound or a put back and completely miss so now they are recovering from being idiots and not being able to coordinate with their body it is a 5 on 3 situation on the fast break sometimes they will just jump up in the air and do nothing.
GAME MODES
I was excited when I heard about MYGM but then you have to pay for most of the modes features and not only that but there was no online for it IMO it was a step back from association not only did they not add online MYGM but they took out online association why in the hell did they take out online association but then added online leagues which is by far the worst mode in 2k history you cannot have a full league with your friends and CPU and the league only lasts 1 season (why the fuck) but don't worry I am sure they will bring it back in two years and hype it up as a new feature just like they did with crew mode. So then they added crew mode for 360/PS3 but then they took it out and added park which was a big pile of shit and a failure. They took out create a player and other customizable things about players so you have to use presets even on your my player.
MY CAREER
When you play my career you get a teammate grade which is fine but it does not work and the stupid assignments when in a game are so stupid there are assignments that force you to play like Kobe and just take over and not let your teammates score and ball hog and make the team worse WHY??
Another minor issue that is stupid why do I get a bad call for pass of an OPEN INBOUND there is no one even near me I am 2 feet in front of my teammate inbounding while everyone else in the front court like the game thinks it would be better to do a full court pass to a group of 8 people.
not only is the gameplay bad but they took out the in depth create a player they had and let you customize a preset character that were all ugly I don't know why but it seems they love removing features.
RATINGS
when 2k launched they announced dynamic living rosters yet you have players like Chauncey Billups who this past season averaged 4 points and 2 assist and he is an 81overall. I have seen more support for players rating on my team with the emerald cards then the actual roster.
TEAMS
In 2K9 they had the 60s, 70s, 80, and 90s east and western conference players but now we have the teams which is cool but you cannot play with them online I would rather have it how it used to be so we can have more legends in my team and my gm. The 00-01 kings were removed yet there is 5 bulls team which there is only 2 good MJs because the older ones miss open shots and cannot dunk or finish for their life the best one is the 91 version.
SERVERS

picking a jersey you want then in the game it switches to white crap, online opponent can see your settings crap, dunk animation crap, animations in general crap, charge cheese crap, tip the ball instead of catching it crap, kick ball violation crap, can't change jerseys in my career crap, no music in my career so it's this boring go to bed mode crap, Jackson Ellis is the wackest rival ever crap, Jackson Ellis plays like God on blacktop crap, unresponsive controls crap, directional passing and passing to the wrong person crap, derrick rose Kobe Kevin Durant LeBron James dive to the lane foul and one crap, OP superstars in general crap, weak soundtrack crap (WTF happened to 2k11's/2k12's feel), sucked in so you can't shoot crap, players bobbling the easy 1st grade passes crap, A+ shot missing crap, A shot missing crap, A- shot missing crap, A- free-throw shot missing crap (I swear yesterday I kid you not at the end of the game I missed 2 A- free-throws in a row so then I lost), pre-determined crap, timeout jerseys glitchin crap, reach reach reach reach reach reach oh look I got a steal crap, some cameras are not available online crap, MyGm is boring crap, lag when u tryin to shoot crap, server issue crap, shooting a jump shot when you wanted to pump fake crap, computer getting the ball back when you knock it out of their hands crap, bullcrap teammate grade crap crap, ball bouncing off of either you or your teammates crap, computer scores when they want to crap, computer making your teammates back up off their matchup so they can shoot a three crap, rebounding crap, online opponent missing a three point shot and always getting the rebound crap, did I mention animation crap?, blocking but getting the ball back crap, driving to the lane without having to press a button after it triggers crap, no replay in online crap, fake collision crap, teammate standing out of bounds crap, backcourt violation crap, DRM crap, having to close the application because an online game wouldn't start crap, impossible shots going in crap, camera switching during a steal so you get the turnover crap, and..................................dunk animation crap.
*I'm going to play the NBA 2k15 demo, and when I do, I'll prove to you all that these problems have been in the game for years.*
