Oh Sam. Your feelings are valid. Cry your cries as much as you need to. Your body is going through soooo much and its understandable to feel helpless and hopeless at times. The light in this, is that it's temporary. I hope you're surrounded by empathy, love and support. You matter just as much as that precious baby. From what I've seen, you really are handling it like a rockstar. No one can begin to imagine what you must be experiencing, and your experience and feelings are valid and you don't need to justify or explain that to anyone. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, with challenges and all. It is so refreshing to see a realistic, unfiltered portrayal of the pregnancy experience. Being this vulnerable takes strength. I just know you're helping loads of women feel validated in their experiences too. ❤
@@user-nn8fm3qv1e oh my goodness, thank you so much for this comment 🥺❤️ it can be so unnerving sharing difficult moments because you don't know if people will judge you or just assume you to be weak or whatever, so reading this has filled me with so much reassurance, thank you!! ❤️❤️
I don't know you and yet from the snippets of your life that you have shared in here... I am sooo proud of you. Literally, as if you were a long-distance but dear friend. You're almost there, mamma. You can do it. Rooting for you ❤
Ooh Sam. Please, please concentrate on the positives. You have an amazing husband, mum & friends. Everything will work out fine. You are surrounded by love & you also have my prayers at least. Your friend will tell you that it’s all worth it when your daughter finally arrives. Margaret was in labour for 37 hours but you are much younger & fitter. When Elizabeth arrived then all the difficulties disappeared & the joy that we had was immense. All my love & prayers, Malc. ❤❤❤❤❤

You're almost there💜 Wishing you a calmer and more peaceful transition over the next couple weeks. Baby grows the most during the last 4 weeks. Something like 1lb per week. Perhaps that is why her movement is changing. Before you know it Mama, baby will be here. You're doing great❣️
@@lauragabriel5526 thank you so much ❤️ On the countdown now, hopefully not much longer to go! We have another scan tomorrow so it'll definitely be interesting to see what she is weighing and measuring now!
Magnesium helps with cramps and bowel movements also with calming baby, lack of magnesium can cause painful cramping, milk of magnesia is given to babies to so it won't hurt baby and you.
I would recommend you to talk to your mom about her post partum experience, if she had post partum depression or anxiety! That way you can prepare yourself and be aware of what is happening! A lot of times it is a genetic thing
I’ve never know a baby to be so active Sam! You’re doing great though! Have you applied for your sure start maternity grant yet? Just a thought as I’ve not heard you talk about it unless I missed it xx
@@dionnemccarten2140 Honestly, it's just absurd how active she is!! No I haven't, I looked into it but I don't think I'm able to claim it as me and my husband are both in full time employment and from what I can gather, that makes us ineligible for it 🤔 x
@ I was showing my eldest a clip from your video before of how active she is and how your stomach changes shapes and because he’s seen videos from when I was pregnant with him, he was shocked at how little he moved compared to your baby girl. Hats off to you girl! Ahh fair enough! Just thought I’d mention it incase you didn’t know about it xx
The pain in your pelvis, it sounds like symphysis pubis dysfunction to me. It is the result of your symphysis joint in the front of your pelvis becoming to loose during pregnancy. That can hurt really bad. There are some excercises you can do to strenghen your pelvic girdle and relief some of the pain. There are are also support belts and going to physical therapy. I have had that during my first pregnancy since week 20, I could barely sleep, walk stairs and sit at the end of my pregnancy. And even if I don't want to scare you, the pain coming from my pelvis during birth was equal to the pain from my contractions. No one told me about that before, even though I had asked my midwife and my physio therapist if that would get worse during birth. You should consider that in your birth plan, to get pain relief if you need it. I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and try to do the exercises for the pelvis as often as I can, hoping it will be better this time around. I am wishing you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy and your birth.
@@SylviaKraemer I have wondered about SPD actually. I wore a support band and went for physiotherapy earlier in my pregnancy for my girdle pain and they both really helped. The pain has just started coming back again now as I approach full term so I think I'll start doing the physio exercises again and see if that helps. I have good days and bad days with it, but not sure I could bear it getting worse than it already is on the difficult days so I'll definitely look into ways of alleviating it, thank you for the advice!
@@perle13930 yes I used a support belt earlier in my pregnancy due to my pelvis pain, and it REALLY helped with that, but I always found that it made baby even more active when I wore it, I don't think she liked the extra pressure from the straps 😅 I've found the same thing when I've been in for monitoring a couple of times too!
@@VickieBiggs-zn5od I'm a singer so I spend most of the day singing to her! If anything, she's probably sick of hearing my voice haha! I do try singing intentionally to her, and playing music into my tummy but I don't feel as though it makes much difference, she's still active as ever every time!
I was going to suggest the same. I’m a first time mom, 30 weeks along, and when my son becomes really active I place my hand on my belly and talk to him. He usually calms right down.
