The Moistest Pistachio Cake Using Pistachio Pudding!!

- In today's video I show you how to make a pistachio cake. Did you know that pistachio's are good for your health?! They help boost your immune system, Improves appearance of skin (anti aging). They are rich in vitamin B and they even help eye sight!! Yay for pistachio's!!
Pistachio Cake:
Cake:
1 box white cake mix
1 package (3.4 oz.) instant pudding mix
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 can (12 oz.) 7up or sprite
Frosting:
2 packages of instant pudding (3.4 oz.)
4 cups of milk
1 8 oz. whipped topping (thawed)
Cake Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 for glass or metal pans. 325 for dark or coated pans.
2. In a large bowl beat all cake ingredients for 4 minutes.
3. Divide batter in pans, bake for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick, inserted in the to center, comes out clean. let it cool. (any cake pan will work)
Frosting directions:
1. In a large bowl beat pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes. Fold in whipped topping. (by hand)
2. Place one cake layer on plate and frost top until coated, place remainder on top of cake. (depending on the cake pan you use, it will be different.)
3. Put i refrigerator for 1-3 hours to get cold and set before eating a piece, (must stay cold).

I have never watched any chef bake an entire cake from start to finish before as I have no patience unlike your patient whistler in the background hehehehe I just couldn't stop watching while taking notes. Excellent cake I’m 67 years old and always made pistachio cake in my 20’s and 30’s Good idea to add chopped pistachios in cake batter or substitute real whip cream instead of cool whip for pudding frosting great cake

Use three cups of milk instead of 4 for the frosting. Pop in frig for 30-45 min before you frost. Then as you said keep in frig. Delicious
I never knew that there was a potasio cake mixture but the minute I seen you make it and then you separated it you were making me hungry but now that you made the like the potasio I guess you're using it as a frosting it makes me want it even more thank you for showing and sharing this this is like amazing bless you very much for sharing

I’ve made this cake. And let me tell you it was so yummy. It’s my new favorite. So thank you for sharing.. But for the icing I think I’m gonna use 2 packs of pistachio pudding with only 2 cups of milk and try that because I had so much pudding left over…but I did make your ice cream pistachio. That was absolutely amazing so thank you for sharing.

I bet this is good . Most frosting are over kill sweet this has to be light. Definitely going to make and I suspect any flavor would be great. Never heard of using sprite but, that’s a great add to the normal cake mix. Thank you

And I noticed you use dry measuring cups to measure liquid. My Mom would have a fit. 😉
This cake can be made for st pats day using green food coloring for a little bold green coloring and a Christmas cake using the same whipped pudding frosting adding red food coloring

If you use less milk your frosting will be thicker
The frosting is a little runny ..I’d use less milk when mixing the pudding ..
