I guess I'm lucky I chose the violin but that means I'm in orchestra and the band kids get to do things that are more fun but at least we get to go to a state fair in 7th and 8th grade for a compition and get to go on rides instead of doing a parade for the elementary schools but, you get some you lose some. I remember middle school band where me and my friend would start playing this is people would gradually join in and we’d play the whole song while the teacher was out of the room

We literally were able to convince our director to let us play this in our high school jazz band last year and it was glorious (it's even the same arrangement lol)

God damn! Song aside, I've never heard a MIDDLE SCHOOL band this good!! Every middle school concert I've been to sounded so out of tune, like the way a large group of people lazily sings happy birthday, lol. Love to see talented and driven young people!
