Listen folks. This is not only the hard way to do this, its the dumb way. 1. Remove air box/ plastic air intake hoses. 2. Remove bolts from i take plenum. ( there are 2 bolts 12mm between the firewall and the intake manifold that can be accessed from the right side facing vehicle with a 1/4 drive ratchet) carefully remove vaccum lines. 3 remove intake plenum ( manifold). 4) easy access to sensor clip and sensor. 5) check and replace spark plugs while its easy to get to them. And check all the rear coil packs also. Use a new plenum (intake manifold) gasket. And reassemble taking care to get all the vaccum lines in the right location.
Just take the wheel off, Get at it with an O2 socket and pivot head long handled ratchet. Get it from underneath. then pop the clip off from up top and repeat in reverse.
Bro, thanks for sharing. Your method helped me out a ton!! I still ended up taking the wiper arm assembly out to unplug the sensor -added about 30min to repair
I have the same issue, it's so freaking hard to remove that connector, not so much with sensor down but conector is giving me hard time, I even cut it and still didn't get it out, any suggestions
good idea - you can access the sensor the way your saying - i dont have long arms - just remove throttle body for additional room . it is an AFR - not an o2. get in deep with your right arm - feel for sensor - install tool then racket to break loose. opposite side of engine is AFR connector - reach in and pull away and disconnect. the way it is explained in the service manual - IE :Mitchell - is to remove plenum to access. this repair is not for the do it yourselfer - it is for the professional tech with pro tools and know how. note - this is not a maxima - it is a marano - maximas are replaced a different way.
My 05 murano has a P1273 code. I hooked up the scan tool and looked at the voltage of both bank1S1and bank2S1. And compared the two voltage,if they are the same. Unfortunately, not. Sensor 1,has (.300) volts and sensor 2 has(.600) volts. The reading should be the same, right ? Because they both A/F ratio sensor. Can you explain ?
What code was this throwing? I'm guess P2096. Wife's '15 Murano ia throwing P2096, and the dealer cleared and said if it comes back, Air Fuel sensor would need to be replaced.
There are 2 air fuel sensors and 2 oxygen sensors. Bank 1 and bank 2. Air fuel sensors are before the catalytic converter. O2 sensors are after the catalytic converter and will be in the exhaust system. Air fuel measures the amount of air fuel that gets mixes in before the spark plugs fire them. The o2 sensors measure how the system ia burning fuel and air and adjusts accordingly
Are you kidding?! The crucial part, the part showing where the sensor is and what contortions are needed is missing

Great camera work. I now know exactly where the sensor is and how to get it out. :( Get someone to hold and operate the camera FGS.
I would just take out the intake manifold out for EASY replacement and you can check/replace your rear spark plugs and ignition coils.
Totally the way to go
@@soulbleed59 how do you do that???
THANK YOUUU SIR YOU ARE THE MAN!!!
Couldn't really see the location when u stuck the camera in there but I get it it's a bitch of a job

If you have a bad 02 sensor will it make the car run funny like no acceleration
Not normally but a plugged catalytic converter or muffler will.
How did you pop the connector off the bracket from under the intake?

i couldn't see anything where the actual sensor was and how you did it

Where does bank 2 goes
Is this the same has the 2009 murano
The location of the oxygen sensor?
you did not show how to remove clip
Brother you didn’t show how you did it 😒
Yes, a waste of time, didn't show the location at all!
i still could not figure out the location of that 02 sensor
Please Where is the female Connecting harness the one on that connects to the sensor now is diffrent.. Please help
hi i chenge bank1 sensor morano 2012 but after 20 m check light open agen and sensor error agen wat do am i
