The part where Abigail has the dead body caress her face with its hand was apparently suggested by Alicia Weir, the sweet young lady who played Abigail
8:56 The Rat Pack was far from a comedy group. It was a collection of some of the most famous and influential singers, actors and comedians, often headlining Las Vegas. Any bar they got together to drink at and "make merry" they basically owned (figuratively, not literally). Their antic were legendary and earned them the title of Rat Pack. Also one of the best Abigail reactions I have seen! 👌
The music at the beginning ‘Swan Lake’ was actually used in the original 1931 Dracula film with Bela Lugosi. Also this film was actually originally called ‘Dracula’s Daughter’. Also well done for avoiding the trailers for the obvious reason 😂
I actually write stories that I illustrate or make into comics. So I already have a character for the evil girl Fetcher that was published back in 2008 and now we're hoping to make a movie based on that story. But this movie reminded me of Fetcher. I'd never heard of that movie.
You guys are great but forget 2 important things. The best actress the kid Abigail. And Radio Silence who both directs this movie Abigail and Ready or Not lol
Only after watching the movie did I discovered it was made by the same people who did Ready or Not! 🤦🏻♂️ And it makes so much sense! Alisha Weir was amazing in this, agreed!
Still, I didn't understand how they decided that this was a vampire and started acting against a vampire, fully believing that this was a vampire? What if this wasn't a vampire but a possessed person or something else? I have an idea for a new scenario. 😂 And by the way: the guy said, "silver was against werewolves." I love that. That was a main line in "From Dusk Till Dawn" when the people trapped in the hellish bar were trying to remember who knew what about vampires.😁
Btw, I forgot to mention that I love that they used a lot of Anne Rice's Vampire designs for their vampires. Stephenie Meyer did the same for her vampires, but in a different way. However, Stephenie Meyer's vampires were too pure for vampires. I mean, even though Vampires act like royalty with all their balls, masks, and special outfits, at their core they are violent, dirty, blood-covered creatures. So here in Abigail I think they achieved a good dose of the authentic Vampire.
And of course I love your thoughts at the end of the video. They make your channel very distinct and authentic.😁 Yes, I looked at other reaction channels and it seems that a shared opinion by the author at the end of each review is something of a generally accepted tradition among all reaction channels, but your reasoning/conclusion is much more in depth which makes your channel more distinguish itself from others.☺
Thank you so much for all your kind words ☺️ And yes, how did they immediatly assumed it was vampires?! I have to agree with you, even Lucy first thought of a demon like creature xD
Thank you. If you haven't seen it you might like "Interview with the Vampire (1994), it does have something in common with Abigail, but not the plot or tone. For maybe a smimilar tone and humour you might like, "Innocent Blood" (1992) which is by John Landis who made the movie with the best practical effects you will ever see, and is a horror comedy, "An American Werewolf in London" (1981). If you are interested in an older vampire movie that is largely ignored by reactors please take a look at "The Hunger" (1983)

@@ptthatswhatshesaid Her first big role was Matilda the Musical She is a 14 year old Irish girl
She's gonna make some badass films in the years to come for sure-

Btw, the guy in the gray suit looks like Elon Musk.😆😅
You guys should react (if you haven't seen it yet) to "Shadow of the Vampire", another unconventional, cool movie about vampirism.
Not seen that one yet no
thank you! ☺️
Just to let you know Abigail’s father is Dracula
Would make sense yeah
Love this movie ..and good reaction guys....but I wasn't aware vampires had a pulse...or breath...just saying
Thank you! ☺️
Well, I suppose each movie makes up some of the rules and ignore the others xD

Yeah, we only realized that after we watched the movie 😂
@@ptthatswhatshesaid It's also meant to take place in the same world. There is a portrait in _Abigail_ that shows a connection between the two films.
@@TheMoviePlanet oh, I really need to rewatch Ready or Not to make the connections!
Hope they will do more 🤞🏻
It do mean vampire. She is vampire
Thank you.

Yeah... when Count Dracula spares your life for saving his daughter, you take the W and GTFO.
