The 2$ bill is either from 1953 or 1963. The difference between the red seal and regular is that on the back it has Monticello on the back and it was only printed in 3 separate years 1928, 1953, and 1963. If the red seal were on the right hand side it would have been from 1928. The one you have is worth anywhere from $2.50 - upwards depending on grade.

That sega genesis is a gem, and about the only thing I would keep from the mystery box. Everything from the junk drawer is awesome
It looks pretty small to be an original, maybe it was one loaded with games that was made more recently. Also there weren't any games for the genesis in that box
