I too, as another commented earlier, enjoy the ease of your knitting. The rhythm in which you knit is what would bring the joy to the knitting. I can't knit like this yet but I hope that I will be able to in the future. Also, no sound is nice. There are plenty of other channels I can watch when I want music or sound. Your format and video quality are great. No changes necessary.
Each to their own .. but I can knit as fast as continental knitting using English way .. Doing very lacy stitches (which I do a lot) or any other types of stitches i find easier to handle especially if any mistakes .. Could you please put a copy of this lovely diamond butterfly pattern in the round please .. I knit in the round as much as the pattern will allow... the finished item is much neater .. to knit a jumper all in one is fantastic .. no (or very minimal) seam sewing .. hats, I would never do flat .. unless of course the pattern is written how the hat is done Thank you ❤ for your lovely knits ...
This is so beautifully clear. Thank you so much! I've just watched your video, followed it carefully with a few pauses and have knitted a 6"x6" in perfect butterfly. I'm so proud! hahaha!
Amazing!!!! I'm pretty much still a beginner but I done this pattern tonight! It's bit daunting with the first row I missed a stitch when you had to pick up the 4 line rows to knit realised my mistake but like I said still beginner I don't know how to right my wrongs yet but the rest of the rows I done perfectly!! Due to watching this video many times very clear instructions/demonstration extremely happy thank you!! Have liked and subscribed!!
I too have adapted to knitting this way using the index finger. I find it much faster knitting than the wrap method. I really like the fact that u knit with ease rather than speed like some of the other videos I've watched on UA-cam
Thank you so much for the video! I made a scarf with this pattern and had success, but it curled like crazy almost to a tube. What size of needles and wool did you use to get such a clear pattern? I used 5.5 needles, but maybe used too thick a yarn.
thanks for your video, it has helped me. is it possible to increase and decrease this stitches like forming a sleeve for a sweater? if yes, how please?
Im self taught and im having trouble keeping the working yarn the same tension, im having some loops so tight on the needle im having a hard time on the transfer...advice.
Don't know if this will help - have just learned the stitch myself! When you get to the five stitches, slip them across and let them sit naturally on the right hand needle - no stretching or bunching up. Bring the yarn across in front and lay it across the stitches, and when you knit the next stitch you'll find that the yarn across the 5 stitches will find its own tension. While you don't want your tension too loose you don't want it too tight either, especially if you're following a pattern. When I first started out I corrected a too-tight tension by imagining I was working with a precious silk and deliberately made my hands relax. Once I'd got used to the mechanics of making stitches - it's just a case of your muscles learning the movements - then I could refine my technique and find the right tension for me. There's no "correct" tension as such, because all knitting patterns advise doing a test square first to get the measurements right to suit your tension, but you don't want it so loose than it's full of holes or too tight that you can't knit easily. Hope that's helpful! Enjoy your knitting!
Hola soy una admiradora de ustedes y estoy aprendiendo a hacer esos puntos tan hermosos, gracias por tener el don voluntad de enseñanza, que Dios las bendiga
