I'm not sure how much of her music you have listened to, but her albums have never been one note or with similar sounds. This is a bit different, but all of her songs (particularly ones that aren't big radio play) are very different to each other in sound/energy ect.
As far as I'm aware she is Bi or not labelled herself, but just mentioned she is now realising she is in to women as well and is exploring that
To the discussion in the beginning: I am bi and demi. So when I feel connection, the gender doesn´t matter. For some this seems like straight one day and gay another. It´s the person who matters, not the gender.

Not true She's a Lesbian she's come out as such. It's not a matter of whether or not she's been with men it's what she really is and what she always has been. Believe Me many of us do that . I love you guys but it’s so interesting how monosexual people such as yourselves (those who identify as gay/lesbian/straight) just often casually forget the spectrum exists, along with bi people, pan people etc. Like, Alex, thinking a woman is hot doesn’t make you ‘straight’. And sapphic content isn’t always ‘lesbian’. As Charlie said early on in Heartstopper: “bisexual people exist”! I know you’re obviously not biphobic, and you are all about the representation when it appears explicitly in shows, but the casual bi erasure (unintentional I’m sure) is 😭
Also, just to add, coming to realise your bisexuality later in life makes a lot more sense when you read up on compulsive heteronormativity.

Not the casual bi-erasure guys... If you're planning on doing more music reactions, I'd love to see a reaction to the kpop group OnlyOneOf! None of them publicly identify as a member of the lgbtq+ community (Korea is super conservative), but they do so much for queer visibility in the industry. They're actually coming to london this Sunday to play a gig at Heaven! I'd recommend either libido or their Underground idol music video series if you did fancy trying them out.

I don’t think it’s bi erasure. I think the point they were making is that there hasn’t been much girl-girl representation even though we’re getting more boy-boy representation widely.
I’m with Josh on this one, my sexuality is NOT fluid, for some it is, but not for everyone.

Yeah, going on 30 and my sexuality hasn't changed since I started recognizing it in my teens (bi woman). I've had longterm relationships with both sexes and am marrying a man, but am just as bi now as I ever was. I sometimes wonder if people saying their sexuality is fluid are still in that "discovering" phase.

I definitely agree that's it's nice to finally see more media with queer women and non binary people getting the platforms it deserves. There has been some really high quality narratives over the years that haven't had the attention they deserve. (Eg. Feel Good my fave show wever) so it makes me happy that we're getting to see a bit more now!💕

It's completely irrelevant and doesn't matter (as long as the laws are upheld - and they are).
It's a great song by a fantastic young artist.
And that's all it should be that matters.

I agree that some people are sexually fluid. Bisexual and pansexual being two of them. But a gay person is sexually attracted to other man.

This!! I know the concept can make people uncomfortable but I don't think its right to erase stories of sexual fluidity. Some peoples' sexuality is unchanging, others experience fluidity. And thats totally okay.

I myself had no idea until I was 19 when suddenly I fell in love. I couldn't say why I didn't see the signs earlier. Even my friends, who were mostly queer didn't know. I remember we had another friend. Everything about him screamed gay. He denied it for so long. We couldn't understand why. In retrospect, it could be that he really didn't think so himself. Could be he was asexual. Seeing how my own coming out story played out, I don't judge people anymore. We're not even going to go near my enbiness. I only found out during the pandemic.
Sexuality and gender can really be fluid for some. It's kind of like one of my siblings who knew what they wanted to do since forever while I was still in grad school trying to figure out what I wanted to do for a living. Some know. Some need time and other factors to figure it out. And then again some never do.

Sexuality is a spectrum but some are fluid. It's not like that for everyone. In the same way that I'm on the Autism spectrum and my place on the spectrum doesn't change but it's still a spectrum for everyone who is Autistic.

I like billie, but the song is mediocre at best imo.
I do agree with alex we need to see more lesbian content. The most we have is the L word. Any lesbian shows on netflix or hbo have been canceled after 1 season. Its not as supported unless its overly sexual to reel in a male audience, shows like the L Word and Blue Is the Warmest Color.
I live for the day where we get shows like Heartstopper but centered around women. It all comes down to the fact that gay women are still not see as gay due to lesbian porn being pushed as a fetish and filmed for men.
As a lesbian woman, you can tell, i have thought about this a LOT.
I also want to point out to say that sexuality isnt fluid goes against bisexuality, demisexual, Pan. These are all sexualities based around the fluid nature of attraction; sexual and romantic.
as a lesbian there are a ton of lesbian content out there, not new lesbian content but there are movies from the 60s-90s that are amazing, underground gems. If u have letterboxd i recommend u to check out some lists of old lesbian movies that are great.
If you have Netflix / Prime / Disney Plus they have LGBTQ lists and I’ve found a few lesbian ones that way.
