Goddamn. Why do the trailer versions of songs always have to be so much cooler?!
Ahah to be fair it's not always the case. The editor here made a masterpiece trailer with Logan, he managed to truly valorise a song that was already awesome with few, well placed sound effects and the voice overs also flow extremely well. I was talking about this the other day with a guy, take for example "Rebirth" from Lucy trailer.. it's a beautiful track yet they didn't take advantage of its beauty, in my opinion, because it's interrupted every 6 seconds more or less, and with brutal interruptions too. He didn't make a great choice on the voice overs front either, I mean, they used a guy screaming as the "split point" come on, that ain't elegant. My 2 cents, of course.

It is what they meant to be, editing is not just about clips but also sounds and music and etc. but sadly most movie trailers use that orchestrated bass or what dubstep so called "cinematic" that shut down and Boom sound at your ear every 5 seconds, but most audience actually prefer something unique and clever thingy like these, and of course clever movie too,

The last movie I saw with my dad, before he died, was Logan , his favorite super hero, wolverine. No cap, shit hit some nerves when Logan was impaled and died. My dad died a few days later.

Yep, beautiful. The trailer cut doesn't have that part and I was like "damn that's a crime" so I just extended this piece with it. Worth it.

Came to listen to this because of The last of us 2... It matches so well with it and the story cuz after all.. Ellie lost everything... she went down with her loved ones... at the end when she lost the 3 fingers she couldnt play the guitar which ended up with her loosing the only thing that she has in memorial of Joel.

Epic remix, but my only complaint is the parts where the volume is significantly lower than the rest of the tune. It would've given more of a punch if some parts had their volumes raised.
