Great work guy, it video was very useful and well made. There are some positive changes and some cool things about the new edition but I feel the game has become less tactical with the 3 primary and 1 secondary missions.
I don’t think it’s necessarily less tactical, but you definitely have to approach the game differently to what we’ve been used to!
There are definitely still tactics, but it feels like it switched away from being a game of “move models quickly on to these objectives” and now the missions incentivise being the last person to be able to tap the objective more often.
So there are still tactics involved in being able to clear enemies off those points, but still having a model that can be within distance to take them for yourself!
I think with the game being refreshed we’ll see loads of new ways to play and hopefully new tactics developed!
@@turningpointtactics6177 okay, that is a fair point, but are you at all worried about it? Looking through the rules and playing a few games of it, do you think it could have been simplified too much? Because after a few games, it has started to worry me.
@@aleczandergordon1298 personally i'm keeping an eye on whether it degenerates into a mere deathmatch due to reduced mission doing and the presence not just of kill ops but tac ops that feed off killing
@@superklausster I’m very worried, I’ve played a few games and it feels so terrible for me. I think/hope in a few months the community will start complaining that 3 objectives and 1 secondary is actually really boring and makes the map feel 2 dimensional . I honestly believe there is no way the competitive community in reflection will actually prefer the mission play more than the last edition.

So far it’s been great! Had about 5 games now, so getting used to the changes. Feels like a new game but with familiar mechanics! Lots of changes to teams etc that will definitely keep it new and exciting as people try to figure out the new meta
