A gorgeous ring! I like the format of this video and hope you’ll do more like these: having had only one class in Etching, Annealing, Torching, etc., I value your videos and see them as learning classes. Great details in the process of Soldering with the audio lecture. I also still have the tools we had to buy for that first class and workbooks; your video explains a great deal more. Love the closeups of the prong work and I use many of those pliers and files in my Beadwork. You really take a great deal of care with your work, you’re a talented jeweler and a good teacher.

I personally love longer videos. For the style you are going for I think 10-15 minutes is perfect! I believe that longer videos could work but then you'd probably have to do longer sections where it's just you working on the jewlery without as much commentary. I personally also like these kind of longer and relaxing videos, but I do think that they might be too long for many people if they come from the audience that watches your youtube shorts . (After typing all that I just realised that this video is 7 months old so you'll probably have figured stuff out by now :P)

I am enjoying the videos you have posted. However, to satisfy UA-cam and their monetization system they want videos that are about 35 minutes long I think. I could definitely watch for that long, I find everything you have shown us to be interesting. I’d like to see start to finish ring sizing… maybe with explanation about why gold is removed from the band to reduce the size of a ring but to make a ring bigger jewelers will stretch that band instead of adding some gold to it. Maybe show us some chain work… repairs to chains, bracelets etc. I would love education about different gem stones… do and don’t about pearls, sos and don’t about gold ie swimming in chlorine, household cleaners effect on gold and gems etc.
