4:14 oh, look! The legendary leg spinner Steven Smith.
He actually started his Test career as a leg spinning allrounder.
@@mikespearwood3914 ua-cam.com/video/uWAdoaun53g/v-deo.html
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Root, Trott and Bell all have the most sensuous batting techniques
Strongest ENG line-up ever!
Cook, Root, Pietersen, Bairstow, Trott, Prior and Bell batting in the same team! Nightmare!
Swann, Anderson and Broad with the ball
Bresnan also provided great all-round value
Bresnan 😂 mate he was terrible
Not in the 2010/11 Ashes series in Australia he wasn’t.
Drop Prior for Strauss, and Bresnan for Stokes - and surely that would make the best modern English XI to take the field - 100%.
Until Johnson arrives and ends the whole career of those batsmen 🤣
Ian bell's cover drives absolutely incredible pure class 🏏🏏🏏❤❤❤
Pietersen's reaction at 7:44 when he realized Watson's gonna waste a review for a plumb LBW
Watson was notorious on wasting reviews on himself.
Due to this arrogance he wasn't given captaincy
Phill Hughes also plays the game...He was a wonderful cricketer...Rest in Peace legend 😥
That was his last test match.
Ryan Harris such a great bowler, it's a tragedy that his injuries ruined his career, he has110 wickets in about 27 matches 😱
Australia win the 2015 Ashes if he's fit
Fair play to Root for his 180, but it seemed a bit harsh Bell didn't get Man of the Match especially when it was almost won by just their first innings lead.
England were 28-3 when he came in, then 271-5 when he was out. They made 361 runs in the 1st innings and won by 347 runs. It was a fine 180, but was not as important as Bell's 109 and partnerships with Trott and Bairstow.
yes
if Bell had failed then England would have got nowhere
This Ashes Series Transformed Steve Smith A Complete Batsman.
In England test cricket is like a GOD.. They respect it
India under Kohli respect it even more.. It’s the new home for cricket
@@gokulm92 What is the link of your reply to this match??
You will see the link when we (India) play England today (25/08/2021)

But no respect to Players 😳Shemesless People's
Ian Bell's cover drives are cricket purity.
Huh?
Virat kohli's cover drive?
Second that
It's true
I agree
King kohli naam Toh suna HoGa brother'
There's nothing like watching classic test matches. 😁😁
Jonathan Trott was such a fundamentally sound player shame his career ended way too early.
Cant agree more
One of my favorite was Ian bell.. Classic and techniques wow.. What a player he was..
Excellent Performance from Ian bell and Root. Class Act... 👏👌👍❤️💐🙏
Ian Bell was such an underrated player imo
Yes, very underrated. Forgotten almost, just like Australia's Ryan Harris
My eyes was in tears when I saw Philip Hughes batting 💔.RIP
Top innings from our Joe.
No he has hit 200 today
Great to see Her Majesty the Queen shake hands with her subjects from England & Australia at Lord's. RIP 😇
Joe Root is a classical batsman
Ian Bell's Cover drives are pure class 👌🔥 lovely to see 👍❤
smith should seriously start bowling again. He has potential to be a good allrounder.
Yeah I came here to say how nicely he bowled in this match!
He doesn't have time he puts all his focus on batting
Oh the peak days, sm fond memories i hv...finally found the highlights
Jonathan trott and Ian Bell are 2 classy stylish batsman
England team's reaction when Watson went for the review..
Ian Bell is magic.. could watch him all day
From 8:00 that has got to be the worst session of batting I have seen from an Australia team. Getting fired out by great bowling happens but here they collapsed themselves against some really mediocre bowling on a flat pitch
Ian bell one of my favourite player ❤️❤️❤️
Ahhhhh how good is Ian Bell cover drive so so pleasing to watch.
how a bunny like shane watson got games over brad hodge who averaged 50 in first class cricket for 20 years is beyond me and is frustrating to no end. Absolutely 0 firepower in this bowling attack what a joke.
Hodge was more the case of born too early but definitely deserved another crack in the late 2000’s when we were struggling.
Though I was a lot more pissed with how they treated Katich, gun batsmen that got ousted because Clarke let his ego get in the way of playing the best team.
Watson definitely overstayed his welcome but after 50 innings he did average 41 with the bat and 29 with the ball. Injuries took away his lethality as a bowler and an average of 35 just didn’t warrant keeping him in the side as a batsmen only.
@@rebornartorias6289 id say pup wasnt that egoistical , the reason clarke played so lavishly at the beginning of his career going down the pitch was a trademark of his idol opener Michael Slater, granted slater isnt the best person to look up to...nevertheless clarke persisted through injury so we could be competitive while steve smith and himself were holding morale together during our very quiet 2010 to 2015 after Warne, mcgrath, hayden, langer , ponting all retired. This was the era where Pakistan had to try to lose insanely hard because of the match fixing , yet australia were 9 down still chasing... whilst pakistan were trying to lose.... you can kind of say australia were at all time low in cricket in the years Clarke was in charge , but i dont wanna just blame him because he was one of our only good players along with haddin and johnson in all the times we lost to Strauss' england
So beautiful to watch test matches... And really eng and aus they respect it.... It hurts when see the madness for ipl
Englans has always had tail enders who on their day could bat just as good as the batsmen
The Trott - Bell, Bell - Bairstow partnerships were crucial. At 28-3 things could’ve gone very badly.
Phil Hughes 😢😢😢
Wow what amazing test match it was absolutely incredible superb greatest test... #LoveTestCricket 🏏🏏🏏❤❤❤
The beginning of root.. The run machine
Imagine if Swann,KP and Bell were part of the current English Test Squad. India wouldn't have stood a chance.
Imagine if Sachin Dravid Laxman Sehwag were a part of the current batting lineup along with the current pace attack. England would have forfeited the whole series already. So just keep imagining kiddo.
Steve at his best.. broke the partnership and got 2 main batsmen out in no time
Joe root with a 180 and two imposrtant wickets clarke and khawajaa
Those were the golden days.
When there was no cricket being played in India,I used to watch this on TV and enjoyed a lot.
Could listen to Holding say ‘runs’ all day 🤙
And 'boundary'
Prior's wicket was great
How come Hughes was out in the first innings? That was a good review.
Root crazy way to get out at 180.
Umpiring was poor in this match.
Kindly please upload All 5 tests of this rare Ashes test. 2013.
I still remember in the post match presentation Clarke said to Atherton, "I think we can still win the series" and the crowd erupted with laughter.
Rain robbed Australia of the 3rd test match. Could have been a different series from there on. Anyways, this series made 2013/14 sweeter.
Which made 2015 sweeter for us after that horror show in 2013/14 down under. Especially the first morning at Trent Bridge!!
@@mrkipling2201 which made 2017 even sweeter for Australia and made 2019 even better for Australia where u won the third test by an umpiring blunder and somehow levelled the series Eventhough the Aussies pummeled u for 4 tests straight
well can't expect much from fake champions well I hope your okay with Aus taking the ashes cos your boundary count didn't work for u this time like it did against nz
@@mrkipling2201 bloody poms havent won a game here since 2010! u guys always tell us that we havent won in england since 2001 but you guys havent won a GAME let alone a series here in 10 years!
Yeah we’re crap at the moment. It happens.
Never knew smith was so good at bowling. I feel like he should start bowling again
Respect for england how they respect test cricket
Phil Hughes Forever 63*
His last test match
Pls upload ENG V IND FROM 2014
Ryan Harris is one of my all time favourite bowlers...
Upload more matches eng vs wi epically!
Great to see great match again
I think I read the other day, Watson successfully appealed against his lbw dismissal once out of nine.
Please upload 2014 India Vs England Lord's classic
Please make highlights on Aus Vs Eng lords 2015
England's strategy this match: Appeal as loud as possible because the umpires for this match are brainless
Kumar was Erasmus isn’t
This is the test match with all umpiring blunders..
If you have Drs (Dharmasena) that has to be the case😂
@Ace 06 but this game had too many umpiring blunders
U can never see Smithyyy failing now a days in both innings.
Bell what a cover driver awesome ❤
Swann Five-Fer: Am I a joke to you?
Beautiful cricket 💯
Looks like 180 is the number for root 😂
How was Agar out in the 2nd innings?
Ollie pope has same batting style like Ian bell
steve smith can really get that ball to turn he should bowl more often
GREAT Work Sir
greame swan most beautiful action for a spin bowler just like vettori
Really Wants to see and Visit Lord's too..
Ashes is the best test series in the world❤❤❤❤❤
Ian bell - 50 (110)
James pattinson - 50 of the same boundary that was hitten by Ian bell 😂😃
All 4 Aussie seamers have similar bowling action. High arm release point
England laughing at Watson for reviewing the LBW will never cease to be funny
Who is the commentator speaking when Eng took that final wkt??.. I am familiar with this voice.. Have listened to this amazing voice thousands of times.. But don't know his name.. Can someone please tell Me??
It is Michael holding bro
Fancy that, a test match where Steve Smith has a combined run total of 3 across both innings.
Wow 2 years later i think he got 200 in Lords

Ian Bell a class cricketer👀👍🏻😁.
in case you have a bad day 8:29
I remember ashton agar getting a debut ton in this series as well, i think if i am not wrong
He scored 98. Just missed it. Still is the highest score by a no. 11.
Ian bell is just class
Nice match.
Who else is here because this stadium is reference in Life, the Universe, and Everything?
Thumbs up if you agree! 👍🏼
That young leggie looks to be a real asset to the Aussie team, wonder what he's up to nowadays
Why didnt Cook enforce the follow-on?
Pieterson,bell, Trott👍👍
Those days when Anderson came at No 9
That was not wise. Swann had more batting skills than Anderson
SHOCKING umpiring. i clearly remember this match from the bad umpiring to australias terrible batting in the first innings on mediocre balls that even i could've faced on a flat wicket.
How stupid was Hotspot related DRS in this match
Rip your majesty 🙏
england crowd😍😍
Cook😍😍
RIP phil Hughes
KP realising that watson gonna review 7:44
I reckon he says watch this, then laughs :)
trot what a batsman
Root right now is a shade of the great player he once was
Phil Hughes R I P
warne, murli, kumble 3 magic spinners for their nation.
in place of murli sri lanka gets herath
in place of kumble india gets ashwin
but for australia they never find anyone of warne's class lyon is good but he's not in the same league as warne.
Still Lyon is better than someone like herath
Steve Smith contributing with the ball.
Match changing spells from Smith and Root!!😂😂POV they are batsmen
Hughes💔
This is a good game shame of the poor umpiring Rogers was LBW
Blame Watson for that
Watson can never save his pads 😅
Smith v root please
