Webinar I CVD risk redefined: Unveiling Australia’s new CVD risk guideline and calculator

The highly anticipated 2023 Australian Guideline for assessing and managing cardiovascular disease risk was recently released in July. Alongside the Aus CVD Risk Calculator, it establishes the new clinical standard for CVD prevention in Australia.
Hosted live on 16 August 2023, this webinar was chaired by Professor Garry Jennings and Professor Mark Nelson, and joined by members of the Guideline Expert Steering Group. It unpacks the latest evidence underpinning the new recommendations and the key features of the Aus CVD Risk Calculator that will redefine the way we approach CVD risk assessment in primary care.
