- I bought the Honda CBF600 from a friend. It didn't take long and I started to just Love it. Well, as it turns out and from all my experience of owning many 4 cylinder 600's, this is the best ever.!The Honda quality and build is in a class of it's own. How nice it is to drive! It is not the most Powerful of them all, but it is enough to have lots of fun on. It feels a bit Retro, and at the same time modern! The fueling could be a bit better at slow speed, but I'll soon fix that! Check out the Vidio and see what I mean. i hope you like the drone footage! I'm in the Odenwald in Germany. I recon I have the best roads in Germany at my doorstep!

I've got the older model a 2006, had it as a starter bike, but i can't seem to part with because i just love the 4 cilinder honda.
I've been test driving some others but nothing seems to give me the same riding experience as my CBF 600.
Hi Karim. That was the Carbureter model. it has a lovely bite to it when you accelerate. The injection ones smoothened it out which is good but doesn't give the same ride I feel. The engine is really good!
The CB650R has a lovely engine. have you tried it?
This might be the only honest and thorough review of this bike and I love it. Just bought one from '09 and it runs like a new one. Saddle might be a bit on the thin side, resulting in a sore bum after a couple of hours, but it rides like a dream!

Bought one yesterday. Immediately fell in love during the test drive. Such a beautiful bike.
Enjoy the bike. These Engines are Bullit-proof as long as you warm the engine (oil) slowly on initial start up. Ride safe!

Love my 2002 cbf, done 60,000 miles on it, now 95k on clock. Thankfully they seemed to have avoided the attention of the 'cafe racer converters'.

I was looking at used bikes, but couldnt afford what i actually want.
Then i saw this model from 2007 for a good price, and started to do some research on it. I found your videos and I have to say, they are really good and you really made me wanna look closer at this bike.
Today i went and had a look at it, and took it for a ride.
I have to say that, it really has something to it. It was a joy to ride it. It was so easy riding it, and somehow i felt that i was really in control of this bike. The engine is running smooth and nice, and the seating position is pretty good.
I only have a couple of things to point out.
The original seat is a little to hard, at least for my bum. It is okay for shorter trips, but i wouldnt wanne go for a 500 km trip on it. That is a minor thing, since you can always install a comfort seat instead.
The other thing is, that i actually missed some power from it. Maybe it is because i am used to bigger engines form mu previous bikes.
I will probably end up buying this bike because it was actually really enjoyable to ride. With a new seat i could see my self use it for both shorter and longer trips. But
If i could affort it, i would go for the 1000 ccm.
A stunning presentation of a buatifull capable bike, i just love mine.

@@PutOnYourLid this bike remains relevant, i would not like to replace it with the parallel twins available in it's place , albeit more economical, more expensive but i am sure drastically less exciting and capable.
That is very true. The Parallel twins are becoming the rage now. But they don’t do it for me! They are of course easier and cheaper with a lot less engine parts which make them attractable for the manufacturers. Sad but true!

I have the pc38 and the average after 16'000km of short city rides and touring combined is 5.3l/100km.

I don't get it. This has the motor from the cbr600 but loses like 30 horsepower and gains 100 pounds. I'll just stick to the 2001-2006 fuel injected cbr600 with the long single seat for touring comfort.
