Christian needs a sports psychologist more than a coach. His problem isn’t physical or strategic. He can barely contain his rage out there. I honestly hope he figures it out because he’s fun to watch and easy to root for.

Been rooting for him here too ... I think his recent growth and breakthrough at MLP Dallas in doubles will help him a lot mentally. Singles is no longer his only podium hope.

      I can’t stand him because he’s childish

He is not much older than a child - I'm sure be will grow and be better able to deal with ups and downs 😊

Used to be a fan but no longer. Was never much of a Tyson fan but after the childish display here, I'm out of the Alshon camp. It's easy to show class when you win but a real winner is one who shows class when they lose. Grow up Christian and show some class.

So agree! Use to be an Alshon fan, but not liking his vibe! Christian you need to take a anger management workshop!!

I think the last ball of the match showed that Alshon was cordial enough - he called the ball out, doubted his own decision, and invited TM to challenge the call immediately.

Alshon looks like the type of guy who can't handle his liquor

Mcguffin comes in contact with the ball above his waist on his serve.

Christian alshon is a psycho . Guy looked like we has sniffing lines before the match. You can’t play when you’re in that kind of headspace. Sad bc the kid has so much talent

McGuffin serve legality is questionable. Contact is too high

Alshon's won the genetic lottery. His potential is immense. But not easy to root for the guy.

Alshon has a face of ready to FIGHT someone, not to play pickleball.

It looked cordial enough at the end of the match. I think that they are both type As competing as hard as they can. Alshon skipped the paddle tap and McGuffin growling and barking at all of his wins. I wouldn't exactly say one is more gentlemanly than the other. I appreciate their intensity. At least they weren't both breaking their paddles like they did a couple of months ago, LOL.

Knowing the history between them (which is really not so significant as KMac stated) I find the end of the match rather friendly, when Alshon called the ball out but invited TM to challenge.

Hardly any rallies, PPA needs to look into it and change a few things just like ATP did by having slower courts and allowing Polyester strings etc

Alshon has more pure talent but Tyson’s mental game is unmatched. Natural agitator. Love me some Tyson. Alshon is on the come up though

Alshon didn't paddle tap after the first game loss. McGuffin did the air tap. Is this becoming a thing now?😅

Alshon has said he doesn’t love the idea of tapping paddles with an opponent he’s still in active competition with.

Christian, because of your actions, you have lost me as a fan of yours. Finally, TAKE OFF THE WATCH when you play. Have you got someplace to be?? What other top players wear a watch when they are playing pickleball??
