Having a child in Canada may not give you residence but it helps. We saw a lot in the 90s.
That was back then. They have caught on to the scheme, so there are more restrictions now. It only benefits the child.

In the US, you can use the child to get permit to stay if you're able to give good reason such as I would like to stay and work in the US and take very good care of my child. I think US have less difficult on getting documents to stay.
False. Every immigration case is different. People with kids are also reported from the US and EUROPE.

Those are called anchor babies
