I have a general question. I currently have a Samsung Smart TV with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. I want a new Samsung DVD player. Do I need a DVD play with Wi-Fi if my TV already has Wi-Fi? I do not record movie DVD's, only watch movies. What would you recommend for a BlueRay Samsung DVD player?

Peg...with limited information it will be difficult to pinpoint a recommendation for you. However, are you pressing the play button on the DVD remote control or on the face of the DVD player? If not, try that. Are you using the remote control for the DVD player? If not, try that. Is the battery in the DVD remote control good? Sometimes a weak battery will function one button on a remote but not another. Is the DVD in your DVD player compatible with your DVD player? For example, are you trying to watch a BLU RAY type DVD using a Non Blu Ray DVD player?
