It's not necessary. They just wanted to bloat up time for the video. That same time could've just been the MC ignoring her and letting her talk to herself in the text thread.
So would I. I have hung up on people. When I was younger, I would not. But about 20 years ago, in my 40s, I realized that I could hang up if someone was being rude to me on the phone.
Cheater Kay and her cheater husband got what they deserve. While Natalie got the man she richly deserved. Martin has eyes only for her and treats her with such love and care. Love this story.
Now you have to have your lawyer file for a restraining order on her and the whole family, slander, harassment, and any other charges. Then change all your phone numbers.
I imagined the parents being devastated to learn that the kid they neglected married her sister's boss and got her sister fired, and that everyone is judging them for allowing the affair to happen.
This is what happens when parents don't put their foot down and say, no to their kids. They ended up becoming entitled monsters who can do no wrong. And do whatever they want with no consequences.
Yes. All children, from a young age, need to be told "no" so that they grow up understanding that they need to respect other people's rights and boundaries. If you do not start when they are young, they will not learn. It is your duty as a parent to say "no" to your child when it is appropriate so they grow up into good adults. You do not want to raise an entitled brat. Please remember to say "no" to your children. It is not bad to say "no". Also try very hard NOT to play favorites. That is bad for ALL of your children.
I once read something that I forgot exactly how it was worded so I will try to paraphrase it here. “Teach your children how to behave properly when they are young. If you fail to do your job as a parent in the future the police and court systems might be forced to do your job for you.”
@@rollothecat2010 I do think it's important, though, to give a reason why you're saying no. Example, "No we can't go to the park this afternoon, because it'll be raining - but we can go another day!". It's far easier for them to accept "no" if there's a reason which they can understand.
Personally, I'd have loved it if Kay had been at work when she was texting Martin, and when she asked for proof of who he was, he walked up to her desk and texted her look up. :: cackles ::
Yeah sometimes they're not very creative when they write these scripts. That would have been a great ending that he literally walks up to her Then continues to text while standing in front of her desk with security next to him texting, You have 5 minutes to pick up your purse anything personal off your desk and leave this facility You're fired with grounds for harassment etc of his wife saying she was using her position at her job to do so. That would have been perfect.
So many people do not "get" this. You cannot ask for a favor from people you have treated badly. They will never forget how you have treated them badly. I mean NEVER. It must be related to survival instincts, to remember even into old age, those who have treated you badly.
Well, clearly from the ending, the ex-partner and Kay never learned a darn thing. I love how Martin threw back in Kay's face the whole idea of being mentally not all there. For as many times as Kay said Uhh, it seems he was right lol.
"Also, the only dog I know who currently needs to be put on a leash is you" - That line was PERFECT, the way in which it was delivered was PERFECT because VA's accent went out the door and swiftly came back in. It was so emphasized. Loved the story.
I loved the story. Kay was flat out evil so seeing her get hers was fantastic. The only things I didn't like about this is that once again the only success the OP has is she married rich. Then she quits what job she has to "relax?" Ugh. I would have liked a different ending with the sister still begging for mercy but the OP actually being the CEO or someone who has become successful on her own, not because of who she married. The other thing that was missing was seeing the parents getting their just desserts too.
Agreed with the parents needing their justice served to them, however their are many women who feel the most successful thing they did in their life was creating, starting and continuing to have a family. Whether they marry rich or not. I have been both a Working mom with multiple promotions and raises and now I'm a SAHM of 5 kids and a wonderful husband. I went back to my old work place and barely anyone there remembers the work and contributions I made to the growth of that company. I mean I started their when it was a small start up. Now it worth a couple million dollars. I thought that was the most successful time of my life. Turns out it wasn't. My family, my kids? They are and will continue to be my success story because they are all growing into wonderful level headed men and women with bright futures ahead. The pride, success I feel NOW is trillions of times stronger then I ever felt working. So please don't say things like "the only success the Op had was marry rich" because living a family life, being married and staying home with my kids is JUST as successful as being a Rich CEO. While we may not have monetary riches but we are RICH in many more meaningful ways.
I wanna hear a story were someone like Kay actually takes their delusions to court, and wonders why the entire court room is laughing at them to the point of falling off their seats. In the baliff's case, falling over.
The petty in me would've screen shot Kay's text and/or recorded the phone calls (even though it's not legal in some states), and published them at Kay job, at her ex's job and in her parent's community. Just so people would really get an idea about the verbal abuse Kay was giving Natalie. Seriously, her parents and ex didn't contact her anymore, but Kay went out of her way to get her phone number and even had audacity to not only invite her to her wedding (in which she clearly said she wasn't going) but to pay for it as well. Let's not forget, once she found out who the CEO was, had the nerve to ask him out to dinner. Dang.
I happen to live in one of those states where it is illegal to record phone conversations unless the other person gives you permission. Which is why in my state it is legal to use screenshots of text messages that were sent to you or voice recordings that were left in your voicemail. If you send someone a text, email or voicemail they can legally use that information against you in court and you cannot claim it was used without permission as you were the person who sent that text, email or voicemail in the first place.
These self proclaimed "cute little sisters" always seem to think because they are good looking, all behavior, no matter how bad, is excusable from them. They never apologize. They take what they want. They are have a warped point of view. Extreme narcissists.
This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.
I am sorry about what you have been through. I have been through something similar and was almost depressed, till I contacted a spiritual counsellor who helped me get my ex back and hence my life back.

And what I don't understand is how can you ask for money from someone who clearly told you they were not attending your wedding! That's what RSVP's are for!
I've just never understood it. If Natalie is such a disappointment, why does Kay even care if she's at the wedding? I mean seriously. Is it just a "rub it in your face" moment? Because that is just pathetic. Let's face it... Kay couldn't have stolen him if he wasn't looking anyway. I'd say Nat dodged a bullet on that one. And for Pete's sake, BLOCK her and get on with things. And if that didn't help, get a restraining order and just stop letting this be dragged out. After a while, it's just as much Nat's fault for letting it go on as long as it has.
They acknowledged and thanked her for that. It deserves nothing more than that. Just a simple acknowledgement. Kinda like if you had gotten a flat tire or was late for some frustrating reason and that tardiness is what allowed you to meet your future spouse when if things had been "normal" that day you wouldn't have gotten the chance. A little gift from the universe if you will.
