Resin figure printed on the Elegoo Saturn 2.
Paints used to complete the resin statue were a mix of vallejo acrylic paints, Army Painter Speed paints, Vallejo Xpress colors and Citadel Contrast Paints. These paints are popular among the slapchop painting method where it is a variation on zenithal speed painting.
The Iwata eclipse airbrush was also used to create smooth blends and glazes for this concept art.

The eyes are differently wrongly painted, but the rest is perfect

i 3d print resin prinst now for severeal years and no, i dont know theat resind printing needs to be sanded at all if supported good. so tell me why
hi , What is the name of the putty used to protect areas that you don't want to be painted?.
What brush are you using (model and size) when detailing the face? min 2:35, those black strokes so thin and precise, amazing work. Thanks for sharing this beautiful work.
I use brushes from Rosemary & Co Series 33. Size for detailing is 2/0. I do want to get something a bit smaller though.
As for the thin black strokes, my tip for you is to use inks. It flows off the brush super smooth for small lines. You could also try mixing regular acrylics with flow improvers.

I used to use blue tack (poster putty) but now I changed to silly putty. It’s less sticky

Beautiful print and finished piece! Just curious, what is your favorite type of resin to use for these prints? Also, can you tell me what that type of clay or putty that you use to cover different parts when airbrushing?
Thanks for the kind words! As for resin, I recently switched to SUNLU standard resin. I print a lot and they are the most affordable while also being very good quality. It also smells much less compared to Elegoo abs-like. For masking, I use poster putty.

how did you get that amazing skin color. Special combo from the fairy skin tones or just one over the primer? how did you thin it for airbrush
You are right, I do use the fairy flesh from vallejo. Majority of the time I start off with Base Flesh. Then depending on the skin colour of the character, I mix and match the different skin tones from the set to get the desired results. As for thinning, I like to use flow improver as a thinner. It works better for me.

The stl was made by an other artist. I simply sliced it using lychee slicer to print it. If that’s what you were asking
how much does it cost you per model to print these yourself? Tempted to pick up a printer
It will really depend what kind of resin you buy. For myself, I buy resin in bulk and per model maybe it’ll cost me $25-$35per model? I never really calculated the cost

I also had a bit of a struggle putting it all together. I contacted the sculptor and he sent me a render of the pieces. It helped a bit. But I ended up not putting all the arms
