Good morning from Wisconsin Joe. Take the remaining 2 bags and put them in the box, still closed. Then if you need to put something else in the box just take out a bag.
Seems pretty firmly planted with the additional weight. I was laughing at the endless pile of stuff that you had in there. 🤣 That was a nice touch of humor. Nice work!
Hi from Canada, slow down and feather your hydraulics Joe, your tractor will love you for that, so will your back from all the bouncing around. Patience and experience will pay off.
I just put sand bags in mine. Just add amount of sand to them that you are comfortable moving. Makes it easy to add and remove weight. Keep up the good work...
@@ohiowoodburner Hi Joe - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. No, we didn't all have them. Career counselling hadn't been invented when I was at school. It was never mentioned and, if it had been, there would have been a room of blank faces because we wouldn't have had had a clue what it meant!
Glad you enjoyed it Glenn. The tractor really does feel more stable with the ballast. I'm glad you guys talked me in to it. Stay out of the heat this week!
I didn`t feel I had a need for the tool holder pipes. So I filled them with gravel also. I have a gravel driveway and always have extra for patching etc. So I had plenty to fill the box. Scooped it up with tractor bucket and dumped it into the box. Then hooked box to the tractor. Love the receiver hitch. Move my trailer quite often.
Are you running the tractor in 2 or 4 wheel drive while loading?2 wheel drive will really tell you the difference the ballast makes when the rubber hits the road in dry ground conditions like that. That ballast box sticks out a fair piece, adding even more downward pressure.Plus, pea gravel is reusable, good idea.
I had a local guy, Kolsum TIre, fill my mini tractor's rear tires with something they called calcium mix. That really stabilized my tractor and strengthened the ground engagement. Kolsum is another N.E. Ohio resource. A side effect was extreme cross slope stability.
Hi Joe from Northampton England. I think from my years using machine you have got your revs too high lower them and you will help the hydraulic S and make things smoother, I probably would have left the pea shingle in the bags , but hey no criticism, life a learning curve🚜
This is a Tier 4 diesel Bob and I was told to keep the RPMs up when in use to help the emissions. I had though of leaving the rocks in their bag but I thought loose I could fit more in it. Thanks for watching from the UK!!
I asked the cashier if they could send me a young stock boy with a strong back to help me put them into the truck. She said it would be a while... LOL. I just did it myself. Gotta love big box stores.
This the season Joe. My wife works in derm and cuts a lot of nasty stuff off guys ears. Don’t forget them when applying spf. Have a great day and thanks for the video.
Just a thought you could put the other 2 bags in the box just leave them in the plastic bags and if you need to take them out it would just be a matter of lifting them out. Just a thought.
I’ve tried another ballast and the hitch receiver bent downward when I was pulling my dump trailer. Have you had any issues with your titan ballast box? Are you pulling your dump trailer with it?
Looking good Joe amazing what a little weight on the back will do. I'm still just using what ever various implement I happen to have on the tractor just have to be careful when backing up. Take care brother!
I have the same box but in red (now orange to match the Kioti). Its a little small for the bigger framed 35-40 hp tractors. Perfect sized for sub compacts
Hi Joe, Not to put the cart before the horse, could you have put some of those bags in whole, so if you didn't need all that ballast you could take a couple of bags out and then put some of the things you took out back in.
Joe, Absolutely Titan has been wonderful here also, Titan, Grapple, Stump bucket, Tooth bucket, Rock Bucket and Pallet Forks her and worked Hard! Great Company! Ps try loading to deck at Idle, a lot easier on the tractor. 🚜🪵👍🏼🇱🇷
Couldn't agree more! Titan Attachments is an awesome company to deal with. Love them. I was told to keep my RPMs up given its a Tier 4. You think I should idle down when loading?
Joe, the tier 4 engine like in my bobcat should idle up on its own when needed, even so to be smooth, always idle back as begin loading the table, tractors can tear up things very Quick, Take Care, and good choice on the ballast box🚜🪵👍🏼🇱🇷
I think you had more weight in the box the first time around Joey Poppins! I ordered a scratch and dent 3 point trailer receiver from Titan attachments for a pretty big discount. What I got was a perfectly good item with no scratches or dents. So I was happy with it and will be ordering more from them in the future!
You will be able to put more weight and stress on the loader now. The counterweight takes weight from the front wheels. That is the good part about it and giving you more traction.
New tractor owners and crane operators certainly do learn about counter weight really quick once those back wheels lift of the ground on that first big lift. I would think that camera operator Emily would be rolling her eyes at your sense of humour. LOL
Awesome video, got a kick out of all the stuff in the box. That log deck does that have a weight limit. I'm asking cause I never see anyone stack the logs. Seems like to me if you stacked it would be more time efficient.
I'm sure it has a limit but I don't think I could exceed it. It is very heavy built. I do stack them but in this case today I was just placing some logs for the camera. Joe
Awesome Joe, yeah I feel your pain I been told a lot of things in my passed as well but I some how able to do things right. Yeah no more bouncey bounce, but I still think that ice and some cold drinks would have been better lol 😝

Are your tires loaded?
Great idea for balist.. you can put calcium in the back tires to help with the bounce aswell
I want to keep my tractor lite so I can mow in the summer. My yard is very soft.
when your cylinder seals start leaking you will become a lot smoother on your controls so it doesn’t bounce like that
I guess that is all part of my learning curve. I will get there one day.

I do not. I want to keep my tractor lite so I can mow in the summer. My yard is very soft.
