  • Hey loves! Today I’m sharing the brand new SheaMoisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt collection (now available at ULTA!) bit.ly/ManukaYo...
    I’m trying the Split Test to see the difference between using the protein treatment and balm for my color treated hair vs. no additional protein support (just shampoo and conditioner). Would you try this line?? If you have or would, let me know your thoughts in the comments!!
    Thanks for watching and let me know what review you’d like to see next!! ❤️❤️

    I would love if you had compared to another hair treatment. Yes the side you used it on looked better buy that would be the case with most deep conditioners or protein treatments compared to none at all

      Good feedback, I’ll definitely be doing more split tests down the road for product comparisons, this video is just meant to show some standout products from this new line

    Love the review! In the past, I’ve bought single products rather than products of the same line. This video is changing my mind!

      These products really complement each other! I sometimes piece meal my products together too but these were all hits for me! You will still need your go-to cream styler and/or gel but otherwise you’ve got everything here. If your hair is a little finer than mine I would even say the leave-in can make a great styler (I just need something thick for this volume and top frizz!)

    I, too, have color-treated hair (bleached highlights), yet my hair is still sensitive to proteins!!! So not fair. ❤️❤️ your videos 🤗

    I use this line almost every 4 weeks but the leav-in conditioner suds in my hair for some reason! Anyone else have that happen? Yes I loooove the smell of this line too!

    Lol! I was waiting for this video since your Insta post!!
    Just by watching a lot of reviews about this line, I think the masque is the most hydrating.
    We can't live without styling products lol even if the masque was hydrating the frizz was present till you used the leave-in. I loved the result.
    You look gorgeous with the middle part though!!

      Thanks love!! I don’t know if I can pull it off but it was cool to try it! Definitely loving the Protein Treatment and Balm and the Leave In really seals everything together!

    Hey, I love your videos, I was just wondering, what curl type do you have?

  • @sunmoonasmr6082
    @sunmoonasmr6082 5 років тому

    Hi I’m new to this but my hair used to be really curly like your but my curls weren’t as small as yours, but I’m 14 years now (young ik) but I have bleached (4 times total) and dyed my a lot of times and my curls are going down, and now like this inside of my hair is still curly as I love but the top layer of my hair half straight and it look weird. So I wanted to ask if you have any products or videos that could help me with bringing my hair back to healthy and bouncy curls, with a my products of videos?

    Did you leave the protein treatment in or you washed it out ?

    • @AminaMarie
      @AminaMarie  4 роки тому

      Always wash the protein treatment out after 20-30 minutes 👍🏽 Leaving protein on too long can overwhelm the hair and make it feel dry so 20-30 is the sweet spot for me

    How come everyone is doing the split test for these products

    • @AminaMarie
      @AminaMarie  6 років тому +1

      Because this is a new protein mask and balm that are very different ingredient-wise from their other collections, we wanted to show the true difference between just a regular wash & condition vs. the extra step of doing a protein treatment and sealing the ends. I thought this would be perfect for those who have color treated hair like mine, or who have other damage from heat or other processing and need to show their ends some love 💙

    Hey Amina, I braid all around my hair almost every night with transitioning milk and oil. Do you think this would help my hair grow and transition as well? I have been transitioning my hair for 4 months now (it would’ve been 7 months but i decided to straighten it once and it completely destroyed my hair and all i had was straight ends) and i just haven’t seen that much results. I’ve been trimming off the dead ends and now my hair is short but my hair breaks off easily as well. If you could give me some advice on breakage as well that would be cool.

      First, love your avatar photo 😂
      As for your current hair routine - it sounds like you’re doing all the right things and keeping it protected in low manipulation styles like bigger braids is going to help! The breakage may but due to the split ends that aren’t being completely taken off in your trims. In addition, it might help to seal your hair with a light oil to keep hair moisturized. If it keeps splitting and breaking pretty badly, feel free to message me on IG (@aminamarie) so I can see pictures and we can figure it out!
