of this possible with standard cells that are not only moveable from one machine to another, but also modular.
What we call a cell is a customizable cage that contains a robot and its controllers. The cell
includes everything needed by the robot to be fully operational, including basic programs. Having an assembly line built with DIY-Robotics cells
allows quick and easy changes and robot reassignments. The DIY-Robotics formula
also allows manufacturers to invest step by step in robotic cells, and therefore convert their production lines at their own pace.
