This is the ONLY music I can listen to while studying and actually be productive. I love how calm it is and how it is repetitive: it gets you in the flow instead of your brain being subjected to many different beats/songs, thus getting distracted. This song followed me to my hardest, longest, latest study sessions. Every time I listen to it I instantly get calmer and get in the zone.
I had a dream of an elderly woman playing a piano in an empty corner of a train station and the melody was almost identical to the first song of this video (0:49). At first, I felt bad for her because she was hunched over, sitting all by herself-then I noticed a mirror on the wall next to her. Where the elderly woman's reflection should have been, there was a beautiful young woman. Her style was from the 1940's or 50's and she was perfectly poised on the bench, elegantly playing the piano. Then the elderly woman and her past reflection turned to me, and I was struck by how similar their smiles were. She laughed and said, "I love music? No matter how old this song gets, it's still beautiful." And I realized the elderly woman I saw was still that same young woman in the mirror. The only thing that time had changed about her was the least important part of who she was. I think about that whenever I talk to an elderly person or stress about looking pretty.

All my life I have struggled with self love. Ever since I was a little girl. Nothing my parents would say could change that, no matter how much they fed me praises and told me how wonderful I was, I struggled with feelings of worthlessness. Even coming from a Christian home, I struggled to truly feel loved. All because I didn't love my self. I cared more about what my peers saw and what they thought. I had to find my inner self to believe I was truly worth something. The devil is a lie. Cast out all negative feelings and put on the shield of love. Care for yourself because no one else will. Life is too short to be unhappy. Love will give you peace. I wish peace and love to all reading this. This meditation has definitely helped me!
