  • The Museum Barberini features a permanent exhibition of museum founder Hasso Plattner’s extensive collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings: 113 works by 23 artists including Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Berthe Morisot, Gustave Caillebotte, and Paul Signac.
Daniel Zamani, curator of the Museum Barberini, uses three paintings from the collection to illustrate the history of French Impressionism-from its beginnings in the nineteenth century to its further development by the Pointillists and Fauvists in the early twentieth century.
