I tried your method and finally for it to work. I think my cutting board maybe has more flex, but it does work. :) The only problem I had was there plastic piece that connects into the clips came of the replacement window that I replaced. It was just mounted with silicone instead of the mastic Ford uses.
I had to have a new door installed. Dealer transfered my prior stuff from the old to the new. Now it makes a popping sound and now as smooth as before or the other door? Is it possible that it isn't latched correctly or hitting something. Any suggestions?
Window makes a popping sound? Maybe one of the glass Clip supports is not locked on the regulator. Check out my other video on how to take off the door panel and glass for guidance.

Thank you for the video! Hardest part for me was getting the new glass to get between the rubber trim/seal, other than that it was easy.
