Yes, it looks like Ryan has the proper mindset for selling action figures. "If you want Dragon Man, here he is." simple. direct. effective. reasonable.
@@hammertronactionfigures2426 I think the shift in trends cementing the fact that action figures are now mainly a adult collecting hobby made it easier for the hasbro team to make a lot of these decisions , also the contraction of the mcu put more focus on comic characters. I’m not complaining, this year has been amazing for comic heads like myself.
@@JaeLee83 The comic books were the backbone of the Marvel Legends series. The movie figures were ok, but severely lacking in designs and colors. The interesting designs and bright colors in proper window boxes would get a lot more attention from kids like the comic books used to get from kids in the 80s and 90s.
The Dragon Man figure is probably still a little too small compared to the way it was portrayed in the comic books. It still looks coool. (Good thing it's not stuck being a ridiculous HasLab, but it will probably still be too expensive.)
@@suhtangwongAs per his entry in The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe from back in the 80's, Dragon Man is 15ft 3in tall. Looking at the handbook entry for Mr. Fantastic, his height is 6' 1" and comparing this new lab coat Mr. Fantastic figure next to Dragon Man, it looks like he's clocking in around 10 ft 6" tall. So he's still not quite to scale with Marvel Legends BUT if you have some of the smaller 4" or 3.75" Marvel Figures those he'll scale with more accurately.
@@suhtangwong I think in the comic books Dragon Man was at least 15 feet tall if not 20 feet tall. The old Toy biz Dragon Man figure was WAY too small.
The Sentinel figure really should be available in stores. There is no reason for any limiited availability figures that are exclusive to any place. Fans, collectors, and customers simply would like to get the figures they want with a minimum of fuss and trouble.
I give the team kudos for not doing the haslab, my guess is they figured the time and energy and feedback isn't worth it, and it's just easier to give the fans what they want with a pre-order window.
Just an idea - Perhaps when doing interviews (which to listen to are interesting but to watch are incredibly dull) you could have a montage of images of all the toys and booths etc at the toy show? So we could listen to the great interview but instead of staring at mens faces for 11 minutes we could enjoy our favourite hobby - checking out toys!! Keep up the good work😄👍
As a big Fantastic Four fan I’m really excited for Dragon Man, Crystal and Lockjaw… though my girlfriend is massively afraid of dogs so I’ve got to make sure he’s not overly visible on my display 😅😅😅😅😅😅
I've been saying it for the past couple years, dragon man was needed , would love to see a sauron, and mole man updated figures!!! Would like for hasbro to do a zombies wave, and an earth x wave, at least cap, redwing, namor/ torch, may parker as venom, of course spiderman/ Peter Parker, man spider, and daredevil/ ghost rider, red skull, black bolt, Reed Richards/ Dr. Doom, build a fig could be hulk/ banner!!
I've kind of drifted away from Legends, mainly because of their weird choices not to finish teams ("All New" X-Men - all but Banshee, X-Factor - 2 characters only, etc.). It would be nice if they'd start finishing teams before adding random characters.
It's too bad that Disney owns all these guys and gets a part of the sales because I really like most of them and think they'd fit in with Gi Joe classified figures. Oh well...

I thought the show stealers were the sentinels and death's head, until I saw ROM!!!😂❤❤❤

It's much taller than the old one and hulk, how big is he supposed to be?

True
Loving these comprehensive updates! Git it!❤
The Lockjaw figure looks like fun to display in a diorama.
Now all we need is Circuit Breaker and my collection will be complete
Claire Voyant aka The first Black Widow needs a ML figure asap!!!
I hope they do more than just Deadpool & Wolverine from the movie. I'd like to have figures of all the characters in the movie
Marvel Legends has been stepping up their game as of late. As of this past year they have at least some damn good figures.
We need more PlayStation spider man figure

Surely a toy isn’t gonna trigger any fear

Dragon Man is cool and I'm happy to hear that they're going for the Comic Version of Rom👍
Waiting on a sleeveless version of MCU Wolverine, hopefully more weathered and bloody.
Blood? HAH Keep dreaming buddy… Take it from an ex employee they don’t like blood…
Great interview Dan!
Hopefully we’ll get truant and mangog soon since they are doing bigger characters
