Love your usual content but this is a great idea, to make something for the absolute beginners! Then you can slowly dial it up as you go along in this series.
Oooooh grapefruit peel! I've never used it, but I imagine it adds some really fun pop / complexity! Seems like a great shortcut to a nice white wine! 👏
I'm really enjoying this series of videos. I'm putting my fourth brew into secondary this weekend. Though I have the equipment, I love all the tips you're giving. I very much appreciate seeing a wine without clarifiers.
Thanks for the video! I just started home brewing, and am fermenting a few half gallon fruit juices in their store-bought containers. I want to surprise my family with homemade wine for the holidays so I hope they’ll turn out well and be finished fermenting in time for Christmas
P.S. been following my Nephew , on line . He's been walking up the Appalachian Trail . From Springer Mountain, Georgia to Maine , 2,200 miles , he started before the Official Starting Position . He's at the New Hampshire - Maine , State Line now . 🐯🤠
@@kjdevault No , He's not on Facebook or UA-cam , just Personal Family Chat . It would be Nice if people would give Congratulations when he finishes . He's thinking about doing the Triple Crown 👑 . Where he add the Rocky Mountains Trail & the Pacific Coast Trail to the Appalachian Mountains Trail he's on Now . We've always called him Strider , he's always did a lot of walking , after Me . 🐯🤠
I have like 4 months into this lovely hobby, and the only reason I started was because I was gifted a basic mead kit, I have since loved the hobby and bought a better fermenter and a few more other items I felt were necessary.

Bingo! It’s a fun hobby to get hooked on, but also one where once we’ve got them hooked we can ramp them up to bigger and better batches. 🍻
This series is very approachable for new brewers. Hopefully it takes the edge off some of the panic and makes brewing accessible for most.
That’s my goal - get started, then level ‘em up!

Grapefruit peel/zest is one of my favorite ingredients!

Is he doing any YT videos of the expedition!? Definitely would love to see some links if he is!

I feel like this series could be called 'Doin' the Least, Mostly'
Haha
Usually it's 'Doin' the must'.
😂 Great simple intro to someone wanting to try the craft and see if they enjoy it! The ways you can step this up from here are endless! WTG DTM!
What do you think of spiced hydromels with a focus on the good aspects of citrus peels and orenge blossom honey?
I think there’s definitely some room for exploration there
Great vid, but come on folks...just spend a couple bucks for a basic kit to get started lol
I don’t disagree 😂

Great video but I need you to look up Joseph seed from farcry 5. You look exactly like the bad guy from farcry 5
Just use a balloon for the air pressure.
Shelf life of something like this ?
First! But not my first wine 🎉

So you're actually fermenting........not brewing ;)
It’s become a catch-all term.
Yeah I get that. Still very high cringe factor every time a content creator says it
