- Recently an underground airbase was discovered in Iran, which will most likely host Russian-made Su-35 multitask fighter jets. This acquisition may threaten Israeli air dominance in the Middle East region. The air fleet of Israel consists mainly of F-16 fighter jets. Honestly, the SU-35 is legitimately one of the best 4th Gen fighters around. Maybe the J-16 is superior. But, anything western 4th gen is matched or outclassed by it.
But, 5th Gen jets exist and the US has done an amazing job in distributing them to their allies to include Israel.
Another factor is the training western pilots receive in their 5th Gen jets far exceeds any training the Iranians will complete in the SU-35.
I think the west/Israel should care. Iran will reverse engineer the su-35 and build cheaper and just ad capable copies or use the tech to improve their vast fleet of drones.
In the end, war is stupid and let's not do that. Nobody wants to see a war between Israel and Iran. Well, I guess some people do....Raytheon...
I hope Iran will buy 4.5 gen jets from China and Russia also which will improve their defence capabilities to protect its self from Israel

Russia is already sending 24 SU 35's to Iran. In Total, Russia will give Iran 60 SU 35's. Iran also unveiled their New hypersonic missile.
RUSSIA since 2022 have being selling SU 25 , SU 30 , SU 34 , SU 35 AND different type of helicopters and yes RUSSIA already say that they will help iran in a war the same way iran helped RUSSIA

@Menti Capti Okay I am hoping what you said is right but when I search for other Nation news I get their local news results. It is not the case only with Ukraine news. IN Ukraine news search i get CNN, BBC, Guardian, Sky, Wion but no news TV channels from Ukraine like UATV. Further to say that when I search the news of other Nations I get their local content news. A probe should be done on this and be put a matter of record if there is any direct algorithm change or it is just natural. Have Islamic Union funded youtube?

In fact, some Ukrainian pilots rightly expressed concerns about the F-16’s inferior capabilities against the Su-35 and they would prefer to have F-15 instead which is more capable than the F-16 and is a match for the Su-35.

I think exporting nuclear weapons to Iran by Russia is more beneficial for Putin than exporting the highly needed fighter jets.
The current governments of Iran and Russia are dictatorships opposite of the many western countries they don't ask people about sending or not sending military help to other countries.
