  • In many conflict settings, including the Democratic Republic of Congo’s North Kivu region, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is able to provide women’s health services due to the work of women in the affected communities.
Henriette Mbitse fled armed conflict in North Kivu and lives, along with many others enduring extremely difficult conditions, in a displacement camp near Goma. Before she was displaced, she was a community health volunteer in her village, and she has continued her work at the camp. “I began sensitizing women here in Kanyaruchinya about access to healthcare and about sexual violence,” Mbitse said.
Mbitse and other women have used their skills, lived experience, local knowledge, and solidarity to help more women access medical care and social support, and avoid suffering in silence.

Islam is the only solution. The situation is more severe now in Gaza, but no cases of rape there... religion of Islam is the only solution to prevent unhumane treatment.
    Thank you MSF
