- @ashthelittlemaestro is a young pianist who started piano lessons with his Dad at 3. At age 5 he accompanied his Mum - Wanyinna - and the Lumen Caritas Chorale as they sang a hymn from her debut album of hymns titled "My Resting Place". Ashe sang and played the first verse of the hymn while his Mum and the choir joined him in the singing for the other verses.

It’s one thing to play the organ. It’s a whole different ball game to sing and play. It’s yet another to play with other instrumentalist and a choir, especially with the distance between the organist and the others. It’s very hard to stay together. Amazing!

I think the instrumental part and the choir was trying to stay together with the organ so they didn't overwhelm him.
Not only that 5 year old but the whole church seems to be pretty talented.

Love this you are very talented and a blessing to us who love organ music.
ash does really well and even tries to stay together with adults that are not together in their tempo. ashe does a fantastic job! but it is not necessary to blame others. if i press a finger on the organ - the sound is great. the violin starts with even producing the sound. the difficulties in organ and violin are both big but on different fields. violin in the beginning is very very frustrating. the sound is bad and on the very small violins it stays bad even if you do everything right and you can not practice to get a better one but have to wait till your body grows. also you have to learn to play in tune. which is automatic on piano, organ etc. so the very first clean melodie takes so much effort. and you have to get over so much frustration. so twinke twinkle little star allready has you practice for months. it need a lot of character to work on it in that young age and against bullying adults. we do not need this. everyone in the orchestra on the vid started with scratching sound and had the inner strength to continue to work hard for a long time with not much reward. so we should appreciate this. and only at age 8 or 9 you can get violins that sound well. and if you can not borrow them and your parents do not have much money you still have to play on an instrument with only toy quality. even if your musical expression and technical skills are very good allready. adults should not bullying kids. ash is very very talented. and some of the violin kids are too. and one day they click together. and the contribution of winds, strings, choir and organ makes the perfect enjoyable and trancendant music. as christians we should not make it difficult for anyone who works hard on his actual or later contribution. we should ask in prayers for the support of all of them and appreciate their gifts and hard work. amen.

This kid reminds me of myself, I've also started at the age of 5 as a cathedral organist, getting to the swell was the hardest, cause it's difficult to reach for the swell and foot pedals at the same time with a small body I had. I love to play the piano and I love the organ too, but I only get to play the organ on rare occasions since I don't yet have one.
My Parents have taught me to love God since I was a little boy, so I believe He exists. They also taught me that it is far more important to DO what God wants - that is to love my fellow humans as I love myself - than to merely claim I love God while living a life of selfishness and hatred.
He plays so nice I had to listen thrice!
Please keep encouraging this sweet little fellow to go on playing for the church. He has a high level of composure for someone that age to play so assuredly along with others. I wasn't able to just sing with my choir until I was 8-years-old, but kept doing it until today and I'm 66. God bless you all.

She has a big smile😊 but she still manages to sing and my Daddy is too busy running around in the background to make sure everything goes on smoothly.
