A quick note I personally recommend the reactive approach and light cone selection for general purpose play it is easier to gear (less energy recharge needed) and offers more skill points. The proactive rotation is only needed in incredibly dangerous content when Luocha is a solo healer or when concerned about the life of a unit like self sacrificing destruction units (Clara and in the future Blade). Updates: - Energy recharge from Shared feeling light cone skill activation does NOT seem to be triggering from automatic casts of luocha's skill hard casts still trigger it apologies for the mistake. This is not to be confused with the 30 energy generated on skill use this DOES take place even with the automatic casts.
2 attacks + skill is 20+20+30+5=75 energy, so 33.3% ER is needed for 3 turn cycle. Light cone gives 9 more energy so you get to 84, so only 19% ER is needed, which is just a rope.
Interesting Honkai Impact 3rd callback with Luocha: the "Abyss Flower" is a reference to one of the Divine Keys (Magitech superweapons: For context, another Divine Key we do see in HSR is Welt's cane, the Star of Eden, which grants him the ability to manipulate gravity). The Abyss Flower in HI3 took the form of a black and white spear (With a similar shape and colouration to Luocha's rapier), and was said to have powers of healing and decay, granting it's wielder immense regenerative abilities (Able to rapidly heal wounds, incite plant growth, among other things) while inducing necrosis in enemies struck by the weapon.
Otto/Luocha is a staple archetype of all Hoyoverse games for a decade since Gun Girl Z, he's in every universe like the main girls Kiana, Mei, Bronya, Seele. People like to think in terms of "expy", clone, rip off etc., they are completely off, Hoyoverse uses the same characters to convey similar themes and explore them from different angles, they are archetypes of various concepts and philosophies discussed in their stories. And the multiverse allows these archetypes to be explored using the same characters.
17:30 Perfect Timing at higher Superimpositions actually requires a bit *less* Effect RES from substats for the max benefit. At S1 you need about 30 and at S5 you need 28. Also worth noting at Asta has similar synergy to Bronya with a teamwide Attack buff (except it's almost always active), as well as the fact that she always attacks an enemy on her turn for field healing (unlike Bronya whose skill targets an ally).
I have 33% Effect Res currently, which should be more than enough with Perfect Timing then. I was worried it would be hard to reach the minimum threshold.

I can confirm that after I started liking Grimros videos I won every single 50/50, including a surprise SW E1 at pity 4. Right now my calculations say its 100% guaranteed with a sample size of me. 😊

Dont worry about Clara dying she is literally immortal with march’s shield and if by some unlucky reason she takes dmg below half health Luocha automatically heals her to full hp without using skill points. Just boost her dmg with tungyun and and spam basics with luocha. Its a very easy tram to use. I literally cleared MoC 30* with Hypercarry Clara for first team and Seele for my 2nd team.
I think one thing to note is that Dance Dance Dance actually synergizes well with luocha because it allows allies to get hits inbetween monster attacks to heal up, alleviating his lasck of emergency healing
@@The_Lightless what op means is that you slot the lc on a harmony char, place that char in the same team with luocha, and luocha will reap the benefit of that lc every time that harmony char ults.
I just noticed the title cards, what a nice touch! Your videos are all so informative but sometimes they can feel like unending info vomit because you’re just talking nonstop. Didn’t expect a few natural pauses in the form of title cards can make such a huge difference.

Great guide as usual! Anyone know if Tingyun's Benediction skill buff proc would trigger the heal during Luocha's field? Says it's "Additional" damage and isn't an attack so doesn't seem like it would, but wanted to ask in case someone had play tested it. I have Bailu and high eidolon Natasha, so will likely wait and hope there will be more concrete info about Blade that I can consider before I decide on pulling Luocha. They seem like a really fun combo, but not sure.
1. I don't think Benediction will trigger the heal because it's not an attack, like you said. 2. Blade doesn't spesifically need Luocha, he just needs a healer. If you have Bailu and high eidolon Natasha, either of them will work just fine. Although, Luocha is still the best pair for Blade. If you don't really like to pull Luocha, you can skip it.

So Luocha's trace where he gets 70% crowd control resistsnce does not count towards the Effect RES needed to optimally use the Lightcone Perfect Timing?
It does not. Effect RES is shown on the stat sheet, contributes to resisting all debuffs, and what counts for Perfect Timing and a certain upcoming relic set. The Luocha trace gives 70% CC res which is separate and only affects a SUBSET of all debuffs. It works to supplement Effect RES for additional resilience to certain debuffs. You can check effect res in fandom wiki for the exact formula, where CC res falls under "Debuff res". It would have been good if this was clarified in the video.

I just got Silver Wolf at the end of the banner, now have Seele, Jing and her. I see how Luocha is a vers strong character and imaginary but I won't go hard for him. I got Yukong btw and she seems solid (has to build her more).
I have a question since you gonna use a skill in the auto auto skill rotation anyway does the shared feeling energy gain allow for the 3 turn rotation? If yes in whats imposition it is possible
He's good but I feel like 3 turns rotation makes him a lil bit hard on skill managing, and from my perspective he's not Gepard level of solo defense level because of MUST use of skill if you want the field to work for every rotation and it's not 100% uptime, and unlike Bailu as solo healer you can risk to sac a teammate to die and let her revives. I'm still not deep into MOC so I'm not sure how valuable is cleanse but so far the most annoying debuff I've met is the Ice golem no duration spd and ice res decrease debuff, because it's team-wide and hard to cleanse one by one.
Hmm idk, i feel like ATK instead of healing boost might be better, then maybe imaginary dmg bonus on the ornament. You still want him to do dmg as well, but if you struggling to stay alive then swap out to healing boost or ATK ornament
question: Would out going healing main-stat still be needed if you are running perfect timing? You could easily get the effect res from his trace, but I’m just unsure if 15% out going healing would suffice.
Is Luocha still recommended if you have Bailu? Thinking of saving for Kafka and maybe a couple of Eidolons. Also, what’s the difference between Luocha’s E6 vs Silver Wolf’s E2 besides the duration?
If you're pulling for meta bailu and natasha should be enough for sustain. If you're pulling for fun or interesting team compositions Luocha does seem like he will be a very nice character for the destruction archetype. Either way he has good utility in his cleanse and buff removal and very high numbers.
SW reduces the enemies's Effect Resistance. (higher chance of applying debuffs) Luocha reduces the enemies' elemental resistance (they take more damage)

I'm always seeing people recommend 4pc musketeer for him, but isnt luocha with a bunch of speed just doing the opposite of keeping his field uptime high? The sooner his turn comes the faster his field goes away. It almost feels like building him with speed is just not the move. I think i recommend using the 2pc 2pc rather than either 4pc sets
You'll get the auto heal back faster and his rotation is SP positive regardless if you're using the proactive or reactive playstyle so there is no downside in speed it just results in more overall healing and break.
2 of his turns or any 2 turns or 2 ally turns? (For the free skill). Assuming it’s only 2 of his turns, that’s not a ton of healing from specificity the free one…but it’s basically a free field so i guess that’s not an issue.
out of curiosity if i'm using SSS and a +15 ER rope can I still achieve the 3 action rotation with an s2 post op lightcone? Or is Vonwacq require to hit that?
My only 4* abundance light cones are s2 "shared feeling" and s1 "quid pro quo" (currently using "shared feeling") so I was wondering if it's worth buying "time waits for no one" from the starlight exchange shop because I finally have over 600 starlight or would it be better to buy some other 5* light cone from there (I have "moment of victory" and gepard is my only standard 5*)
I cant comment on the best thing to buy but I can tell you luocha is fully capable of getting 30/30 stars only using an s1 4 star lightcone and any of the ones in this video are suitable.
How bad would it be to use imaginary dmg boost on the sphere instead of ATK? i want him to do some damage even though i know it's not really optimal, i like him so i want him to do big numbers.
Even with imaginary damage boost you are not building any crit stats so you’re actually not dealing much more damage. It’s just better to have attack % to boost your damage as well as your healing.
IDK, he seems to be way too good. I understand that future destruction dps characters will need on-hit healing, but devs crammed too much into his kit - absurd healing, cc immunity, mass enemy buff removal, etc., which not only leaves poor Bailu in the dust, but leaving little room for future abundance characters (unless massive powercreep happens and these characters will provide buffs akin to harmony characters on top of their healing).
It wont be that fast. also if you can get ult alot, you can keep it up a long while. He gets a flower on his ult too. All these explained in the vid... fundamentally anyways.

Actually that makes sense but based on their calculations field will be up most of the time so it wont matter, the point to give him Speed, he can do more attacks = more dmg, skill plus for your other characters and of course build his ultimate(dmg and dispell) faster+his talent also work with his 2 turns as fast he goes the faster he can heal without using turns or skill point.😁
Hmmm 🤔 Personally I would because he's a healer and a debuffer and I think that's useful 🤔 and after you can focus on pulling a dps. I just think supports are better to get first then get a dps of your choice 🤔
Pull Luocha, skip Kafka, then pull for Blade(main DPS) Luocha+Blade with how he uses his hp loss to boost his damage+Luocha life steal effect would be amazing
I'd go for luocha if you really want a second healer then immediately save for a 5 star DPS character. You want at least 2 strong 5 star DPS characters, 1 for each team .
You need him the upcoming Destruction characters, my recommendation pull loucha, Then pull Danheng IL, Then pull Jingliu you account will be cracked and pay off long term

His eidolons really makes him into an harmony, preservation and nihility character all at once. Honestly this classes systems are starting to look really useless. Seele being a pseudo erudition and Jing a pseudo hunt should have been obvious to me where this was going.
I haven’t changed anything if I had to guess its how the video guides end up being made. Generally I start out videos with max enthusiasm but because they are a single long take I lose a bit of momentum through the filming. Guides I do lately are filmed in lots of small takes and then combined so I am at max enthusiasm for each take and also most of the uhhh and mmm’s are cut out in editing. Sorry you aren’t enjoying the videos but I honestly haven’t changed anything other than filming in small bursts and editing it together.

I did some summons for QQ cons and a Yukong and... got Luocha around 30 wishes xD I REALLY didnt want him, already have Bailu and im kinda short on wishes for the upcoming Blade, BUT i cant complain about winning a 50/50 at 30 wishes xD
Lost 50/50 so had to go to soft pity twice, but the upside is I got Clara who not only works well with him but also was a character I really wanted so even though it was a "loss" I guess I still won. Kind of surprised he heals so much, though. I got him mainly because he's imaginary, has a damaging ult, and comes with dispel/cleanse built-in, and was expecting him to have slightly lower healing to make up for that. The fact that he heals so much while also having so much utility is pretty surprising. Just hoping Hoyo doesn't feel the need to keep upping the ante with new characters and power levels remain more or less within reason like in Genshin.
Jing Yuan deserves to be mentioned for Luocha teammates. Since the heal from Luocha's field also procs off of follow-up attacks, Lightning Lord stacks become insanely OP.

Im using an imaginary planar orb with atk% atk and speed. Do you think i should still use a outgoing healing bonus chest piece or go with an atk% to further his sub dps. Im using an S2 time waits for no one. (4 star LC with his face).

technically it's 34.44% but yeah call it 35% to keep it clean or you can use the signature with energy rope.

bronya targets her ally and then it's her ally's turn, which normally will do some damage, so it also heals.

Dance x3 is a Harmony class light cone. It cannot be used on Luocha because he is Abundance class. Wrong information.

Mate if you have E6 S5 it doesn’t matter how you build him he will be perfectly fine.

He's good but I feel like 3 turns rotation makes him a lil bit hard on skill managing, and from my perspective he's not Gepard level of solo defense level because of MUST use of skill if you want the field to work for every rotation and it's not 100% uptime, and unlike Bailu as solo healer you can risk to sac a teammate to die and let her revives. I'm still not deep into MOC so I'm not sure how valuable is cleanse but so far the most annoying debuff I've met is the Ice golem no duration spd and ice res decrease debuff, because it's team-wide and hard to cleanse one by one.
Hmm idk, i feel like ATK instead of healing boost might be better, then maybe imaginary dmg bonus on the ornament. You still want him to do dmg as well, but if you struggling to stay alive then swap out to healing boost or ATK ornament
No he just wants to heal. He won’t do any damage even if you build him for it
question: Would out going healing main-stat still be needed if you are running perfect timing? You could easily get the effect res from his trace, but I’m just unsure if 15% out going healing would suffice.

It does not provide any healing bonus outside of the energy recharge and base stats based on my testing.
Is Luocha still recommended if you have Bailu? Thinking of saving for Kafka and maybe a couple of Eidolons.
Also, what’s the difference between Luocha’s E6 vs Silver Wolf’s E2 besides the duration?
If you're pulling for meta bailu and natasha should be enough for sustain. If you're pulling for fun or interesting team compositions Luocha does seem like he will be a very nice character for the destruction archetype. Either way he has good utility in his cleanse and buff removal and very high numbers.
SW reduces the enemies's Effect Resistance. (higher chance of applying debuffs)
Luocha reduces the enemies' elemental resistance (they take more damage)

I'm always seeing people recommend 4pc musketeer for him, but isnt luocha with a bunch of speed just doing the opposite of keeping his field uptime high? The sooner his turn comes the faster his field goes away. It almost feels like building him with speed is just not the move. I think i recommend using the 2pc 2pc rather than either 4pc sets
You'll get the auto heal back faster and his rotation is SP positive regardless if you're using the proactive or reactive playstyle so there is no downside in speed it just results in more overall healing and break.

Assuming it’s only 2 of his turns, that’s not a ton of healing from specificity the free one…but it’s basically a free field so i guess that’s not an issue.

out of curiosity if i'm using SSS and a +15 ER rope can I still achieve the 3 action rotation with an s2 post op lightcone? Or is Vonwacq require to hit that?
You need Vonwacq if Post-op isn't S5
My only 4* abundance light cones are s2 "shared feeling" and s1 "quid pro quo" (currently using "shared feeling") so I was wondering if it's worth buying "time waits for no one" from the starlight exchange shop because I finally have over 600 starlight or would it be better to buy some other 5* light cone from there (I have "moment of victory" and gepard is my only standard 5*)
I cant comment on the best thing to buy but I can tell you luocha is fully capable of getting 30/30 stars only using an s1 4 star lightcone and any of the ones in this video are suitable.

His E1 is great especially if you can maintain good field uptime.
How bad would it be to use imaginary dmg boost on the sphere instead of ATK? i want him to do some damage even though i know it's not really optimal, i like him so i want him to do big numbers.
Even with imaginary damage boost you are not building any crit stats so you’re actually not dealing much more damage. It’s just better to have attack % to boost your damage as well as your healing.

IDK, he seems to be way too good. I understand that future destruction dps characters will need on-hit healing, but devs crammed too much into his kit - absurd healing, cc immunity, mass enemy buff removal, etc., which not only leaves poor Bailu in the dust, but leaving little room for future abundance characters (unless massive powercreep happens and these characters will provide buffs akin to harmony characters on top of their healing).

It wont be that fast. also if you can get ult alot, you can keep it up a long while. He gets a flower on his ult too.

Neither of them are needed for him to perform well in endgame so you can choose the one you feel is more appealing.

His lightcone is definitely insane for him but he doesn't need it to function there are plenty of other good options for him.
Im thinking that because the field based on luocha's turn, can we not use spd boots on him? Theoretically the field will last longer for other more speedier chara. Just wanna know what your thinking
Actually that makes sense but based on their calculations field will be up most of the time so it wont matter, the point to give him Speed, he can do more attacks = more dmg, skill plus for your other characters and of course build his ultimate(dmg and dispell) faster+his talent also work with his 2 turns as fast he goes the faster he can heal without using turns or skill point.😁

Hmmm 🤔 Personally I would because he's a healer and a debuffer and I think that's useful 🤔 and after you can focus on pulling a dps. I just think supports are better to get first then get a dps of your choice 🤔
Pull Luocha, skip Kafka, then pull for Blade(main DPS) Luocha+Blade with how he uses his hp loss to boost his damage+Luocha life steal effect would be amazing

I haven’t changed anything if I had to guess its how the video guides end up being made. Generally I start out videos with max enthusiasm but because they are a single long take I lose a bit of momentum through the filming. Guides I do lately are filmed in lots of small takes and then combined so I am at max enthusiasm for each take and also most of the uhhh and mmm’s are cut out in editing. Sorry you aren’t enjoying the videos but I honestly haven’t changed anything other than filming in small bursts and editing it together.

Lost 50/50 so had to go to soft pity twice, but the upside is I got Clara who not only works well with him but also was a character I really wanted so even though it was a "loss" I guess I still won.
Kind of surprised he heals so much, though. I got him mainly because he's imaginary, has a damaging ult, and comes with dispel/cleanse built-in, and was expecting him to have slightly lower healing to make up for that. The fact that he heals so much while also having so much utility is pretty surprising. Just hoping Hoyo doesn't feel the need to keep upping the ante with new characters and power levels remain more or less within reason like in Genshin.

Jing Yuan deserves to be mentioned for Luocha teammates. Since the heal from Luocha's field also procs off of follow-up attacks, Lightning Lord stacks become insanely OP.
It only heals once per follow up attack, doesn’t matter how many stacks of lightning lord.
He's amazing, but I hate the nerf where AoE attacks dont trigger his talent multiple times, it used to in CBT2 :(

Im using an imaginary planar orb with atk% atk and speed. Do you think i should still use a outgoing healing bonus chest piece or go with an atk% to further his sub dps. Im using an S2 time waits for no one. (4 star LC with his face).
It makes sense to have both, default to ATK for DPS and if you need extra healing in a specific fight switching to outgoing healing
