Iv been told giving them a business card or a way of contacting you is a good action. Are you able to make one in the preparation and then use it in the role play? As you cannot write notes in the actual assessment. My assessments in two days and I am panicking.

I have found with all the times I’ve tried joining the police, you have to jump the academic barrier first, this is the part where I fall down in the assessment day but when it came to the practical parts I was ok. It’s ok having O levels and A levels but no good if you cannot deal with people. I have served as a Special Constable for 20 years but when I try to join full time I get a reply saying that I do not have what it take to be a police offices. WHAT!

it was okay up until the point they rejected me so then I started Self harming and fell into deep depression because of it, my arm stings so bad and I'm not proud of it but I shouldn't of being rejected I am a really good Candidate to them until they told me that I had to be a Police officer 2 before applying but I did not know that. now they have new laws out where by 2019 people will need to Study Criminology Diploma and a level 3 grade and 3 years in collage to get in I stand no chance.

@@bobs2kk401 To be honest with you I think the army people have a better chance of getting in but that's only an opinion not a fact, I could be wrong. For the written stuff, the verbal reasoning is a little confusing sometimes as you need to wipe off all previous experiences and only focus on what has been written. For example, let's say it says 1+1=2 and the question says is 1+3=4 you need to say "cannot say" obviously I'm exaggerating to make my point but hope that's cool. Erm, other than that the role plays were scary, there were like 5 actors in different rooms waiting for you and as soon as you enter they would be in character mainly a pissed off person trying to grill you for some reason. I've re applied this year and have my assessment centre on Sunday so good luck to me and you! Haha
