What are your reference in these discussions?
We use different books and articles. Don't include citations as they only lengthen the video. In the first place, this is intended as "notes", and not as a scholarly paper.
Okay, thank you for this wonderful discussion :)
Hi are you a filipino?
Hi Equalizer, Fil-Am
Hi Equalizer, Fil-Am
There's a slight difference between commonly and traditionally held beliefs as the basis of an argument. The former leads to fallacy of appealing to people, while the latter fallacy is appealing to tradition.
Examples:
1) "You must use 'x' brand because it is used by 87% of the households" - Appeal to People
2) "Gay people shouldn't be allow to get married. Marriage has always been between a man and a woman." - Appeal to Tradition
hi, I am Filipino. hbu?
Aussie-Filipino, Francis.
I wonder if the narrator is an atheist for she has examples of an atheistic arguments
that was just an example, mate! thanks though
And so what if the narrator is an atheist??? Why the label "atheist"? If some people don't invent gods, other people would not need to deny the existence of those imaginary characters.
