4:14 I had to stop the video and comment. That's the best potted history of this "If only" beautiful powerful train. Thank you. I'm a bit of a fan of the ol' APT you might have guessed.
You can get loksound with sound from roads and rail and use lokpilot decoders for both dts which are the front ends for the cab light etc to work seamlessly hope this helps
Yes the models do come with head and tail lights, forwards there is 3 lights that show, (2 outer markers and bright headlight) and rear there is 2 red lights.
Looks like a very good model, and a bargain as well! Where can I put it on my model? Can only take a Brighton Belle. Ah. Well! Back to the drawing board!
That catenary looks marvellous

Unfortunately I will not be able to watch this live but will most definitely catch up a.s.a.p.😢
Hi, can you clarify the requirements for sound chipping of this train please.? I noted a reference to "X3" in the description.

Didn't notice working head & tail lights? Does the model actually have these?

Yes the do but to work correctly the set req 3 dcc decoders 1 foe power car and 1 in each DVT for the lights.

The link to the diagrams is missing, could this be added please
Our mistake! We've added the link now - you can find them at: www.25kv.uk/APT.php
If you ran your building lights on DC with a capacitor in the circuit, then your building lights wouldn't flicker on camera.
I have bit the bullet and bought one. The whole lot.
