If it were only for the decay it would be still almost 3400, but one big thing, is that they do not gather automatically, you need your vills, and all that time they are not gathering normally, so its not really plus food, is instead of, and its not even double the gather rate, so its not really that much actually
the good thing about halb and pikes, when u show ur cav, muskets go to cav. so u just rush to falcs and kill. ppl forget falcs countered by melee not only by cav

I know popcorn had a really fast age up, but I feel like it was a big mistake for carp to not put any pressure on him before he aged up at 5 minutes, going for all the TPs was too greedy I also find that native builds work much better as France when the natives on the map have some hand cav, like Boyars, Saxon Curs, Winged Hussar or some skirmishers like Evzone or Royal Arqubusier. Especially since your HC already gives you musks and goons
this is also kind of a bad map for native play since the Natives are right in the middle and there is one native type. Not to mention Tartar are a C tier native imo
yeah native tier list would be cool, but there are so many now it would be so long haha French are defo busted on certain maps like where they get tartar archers lol
yeah 12/10 governor into essentially a naked FF is pretty good if you aren't being pressured early. i usually do it in match ups where i know i'm not really going to do anything in age2 and i'm not trying to do a musk falc timing. it'd be even scarier if popcorn had more food treasures. is the replay of this in the discord?

You have to factor in that time not gathering normal herds saves so much food keeping vills in base longer rather than moving across map for more food
