- Negotiations are expected to resume next week for a potential ceasefire and hostage release deal after the most recent talks stalled.
The Mossad chief reportedly met with the CIA director and Qatari mediators to discuss the next steps in the ever-developing situation.
The developments come as Lebanese media and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights report at least two Hezbollah fighters were thought to have been killed in an apparent Israeli strike in Syria over the weekend.
As Israeli troops continue the fight against Hamas across the Gaza Strip, the Israeli Air Force said Saturday that they eliminated “dozens of terrorists” and a Hamas sniper squad that had attacked fighters with the Israel Defense Forces several days earlier.
The United Nations World Court, formally identified as the International Court of Justice ordered Friday that Israel must “immediately” halt its Rafah operation, which Israeli officials have said will not happen.
